It is their time to show off the skills they have. Here are some guys that have been impressive this summer. I expect them to have a big year.
Bralan Womack Bralan Womack 6'0" | 195 lbs | DB Hartfield Academy | 2026 State MS , 6-0 185, WR/DB, Hartfield Academy
Bralan has a lot of people around the state talking. Everyone is excited to see him have a breakout year. Bralan has a nice frame that he will continue to grow into. He is a kid that is in very good shape. He also is a guy who knows the position well. He is teacher amongst his peers while still being a coachable player.
Bralan knows his way around the gridiron. On offense he can hit you with some quick shifty moves to get open. He has the speed to go the distance if your defenders miss too many tackles. He has good hands and he knows how to keep the chains moving. On defense is where it seems he will really thrive. Most of the clips of him on social media are at the defensive back position. When he attended camps this summer he worked out at DB. That is what it seems like he will play on the next level. He has a lot of natural instincts on that side of the ball. This is going to be a very big year for Mr. Womack.
JaReylan McCoy JaReylan McCoy 6'7" | 265 lbs | DL Tupelo | 2026 State MS , 6-7 245, DE, Tupelo
This is a big boy out ot Lee County. A lot of people are expecting this kid to have a very big name. I don’t think he will get a lot of time with varsity this year, but trust and believe his time is coming. He has a very wide wing span that he uses to keep defenders off of him. He has a big body that wears down on his opponents. He is quick off the line. I would love to see McCoy get more active with his hands. He also needs to continue to work on learning more moves to put on offensive lineman. He is young and has a lot of time to work on his craft. He already holds several power 5 offers.
Grant Kitchens, 6-6 275, OL/DL/ Nanih Waiya
Grant is another big boy who is a part of this 2026 class. He is from a town know for producing good offensive lineman. Grant is a big boy that knows how to move on the offensive line. I’ve heard that his great grandfather was a 7-4 man. It is safe to say that Grant is nowhere near done growing.
Grant started to gain a lot of attention on Twitter this past off-season. There is a video of him working out with the ropes showing how he can move with that big body. Grant does a good job of moving around on the offensive line. Like all players his age, he has some things that need to be worked on. I’ve seen him camping as a defensive lineman too. He was so dominant with his strength that coaches were very impressed. When he gets those hands moving correctly he is going to be trouble in 1A. Grant has a very high ceiling. Look for his name to be making a lot of noise soon.
Trence Robertson Trence Robertson 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL West Lowndes | 2026 State MS , 6-2 265, OL, West Lowndes
Trence has made a name for himself in junior high at a small school. That is real big for the community that he comes from. A lot of people are looking forward to this young man accomplishing some big goals throughout his football career. He has a lot of size and has the grit to go behind it. He is a big guy that knows how to move around. He isn’t a big stiff kid. Trence understands the game and is going to be a big time prospect. He knows how to block. He is not just out there running around. With MC Miller being over there he may end up being that big prospect on the defensive side of the ball. He has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see what he does over these next four seasons.
