Prep Redzone Arkansas uses this time in the week to be able to focus on some guys that have not been covered by us yet. We look at all across the classes and shine the well-earned spotlight on some talented prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='411132' first='Jaxson' last='Brust']-Wide Receiver-Bentonville West-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Bentonville West wide receiver is a prospect that runs smooth routes. Brust is impressive in how he works way back to the quarterback, allowing him to make the throw. He has the speed needed to stretch the field deep and gives the Bentonville West offense a wide receiver that can stretch the field. The Wolverines have a talented offense, and this has the potential to be a team that can make a deep playoff run.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='392415' first='Johnny' last='Pike']-Defensive Back-Bentonville-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Bentonville safety is one of the most aggressive defensive backs in the 7-A West. Pike does a great job of separating the ball from the ball carrier. He plays the run and the passing game with equal effectiveness. Pike will pick off passes and take them back the other direction. The Bentonville secondary is a talented unit and one that will present problems to opposing offenses in the 7-A West.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='315838' first='Erik' last='Barrientos']-Offensive Line-Fort Smith Northside-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Northside Grizzlies have a mainstay in the offensive line in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='315838' first='Erik' last='Barrientos']. The versatility that Barrientos has is impressive. He can play every position along the offensive line with effectiveness. Barrientos uses his strength well to opposing defensive linemen from disrupting the offense and pressuring the quarterback. Barrientos has the foot speed to play every position and he is a prospect that I fully expect to see play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413555' first='Antonio' last='Jordan']-Wide Receiver-Warren-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stop me if you have heard this one. The Warren Lumberjacks have another division one caliber wide receiver coming up through the ranks. Jordan is a playmaker, and he uses his 6-4 frame well to make the play. Jordan hauls in every pass that is thrown in his direction, and he is a wide receiver to watch out for over the next few seasons. He has the opportunity to light up Friday nights over the next few seasons. Keep an eye on Jordan, he is a prospect that has the potential to play on Saturdays one day.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='393717' first='Junior' last='Reyna']-Wide Receiver-Springdale-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Springdale wide receiver does an excellent job of getting open for his quarterback. Reyna does a great job of blocking for his teammates and helping to create a rushing lane. Reyna is a wide receiver that works to get open and uses his speed well to get open. Reyna is going to be a player to watch this season for the Bulldogs. He is a talented prospect that plays with good speed and is a creative route runner. I expect a big season from him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
