This watch list includes prospects that have been added to the database by Prep Redzone scouts as well as any prospect who has created his own profile on Prep Redzone.
Here is a quick look at a few of the Class of 2026 prospects in Missouri to keep an eye on:
A 5-foot-8, 165-pounder, Ballard recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.67 seconds at the St. Louis Metro Football Coaches Association Spring Showcase back in May, the fastest time among a strong group of 2026 prospects at the event. Ballard is joining a strong Francis Howell program that has produced some good players over the years and he looks like he will be one of them before too long.
One of the more unique prospects you’ll ever find, Cantwell is a 6-8, 260-pound offensive lineman-defensive lineman who also excels in basketball and track and field (shot put and discus). His parents – Christian and Terri (Steer) Cantwell – were both Olympians who competed in the shot put. Football may be the worst of Jackson’s three sports at this point, but it’s not hard to see him developing as a Division I offensive tackle prospect. He’s a rare talent.
A 6-2, 190-pounder who plays wide receiver and safety, Harris already looks the part physically and may remind some of recently graduated St. Louis University High standout wide receiver Chris Brooks Jr., who signed with the University of Wisconsin. SLUH has a strong group of incoming 2026 prospects, including Eleby at quarterback, but Harris may end up being the best of the bunch. Time will tell.
Another talented quarterback in the Class of 2026, McClellan has a strong family history on his side. His father, Gerald, played at Kansas State. One of his older brothers, Matt, played defensive end at Missouri State and another older brother, Jeremiah, is a standout wide receiver at CBC and one of the state’s top prospects in the Class of 2024. Nick is a promising quarterback who has had a lot of success coming into high school and will be coached by one of the state’s top coaches in CBC’s Scott Pingel.
Walker, a 6-0, 185-pounder, arrives at Raymore-Peculiar with lofty expectations as a football and track and field standout with the size and speed to accomplish big things throughout his four years of high school. His father, Demetrios Walker, was a defensive lineman at Middle Tennessee State who went on be signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. His older brother, Demetrios Walker II, was a standout edge rusher at Ray-Pec (Class of 2021) who is now at Iowa Central Community College.
