isn’t your typical athlete. He was brought up where winning is important as well as academics.
Giving your best effort was critical in his success. As a freshman while playing only 6 games Isaiah caught 37 passes for 515 yards and 6 touchdowns. Also, a defender at Cornerback he had 10 solo tackles and 2 interceptions which included 1 being returned 91 yards for a touchdown.
His ability is defined with speed and consistent routes and being a good blocker. He says academics are very important to him as last year as a freshman he had a 3.3 GPA.
As for his strengths and weaknesses Isaiah says his weakness is getting use to the High School level. Strengths are his fade routes and knowing where the first down marker is. He is a slot receiver that can play cornerback or running back if needed.
His goal for this season is to help his team win a state championship and help his team out as much as possible. Other Sports that Isaiah plays are Baseball where he plays Centerfield and started for the varsity as a freshman. He also plans on running track this season where he plans on running the 100 meters, long jump and some relay teams.
With his 4.48 laser time which was verified by Next Gen this shouldn’t be a problem. At 5’10, 145 pounds with speed to burn. Camps that Isaiah attended this past summer include Arkansas which is his favorite, Missouri, The Show by Next Gen and Arkansas Prep RedZone.
He was trained by D1 in Rogers by former Razorback JJ Meadors. He plans to try to set up camps next summer to Arkansas, UCLA, USC, Penn State, Oregon, Ole Miss, Next Gen and Prep Red Zone Arkansas. Isaiah feels that playing as a freshman bonding with the older players helped him grow as a person and athlete.
It also helped him by giving him the experience at the High School level. He said his favorite route is the fade or post corner. But admits that he scored mostly on fade routes. He adds that his other teammates are the keys to his success. He has a tight bond with all his teammates.
In summary I feel Isaiah has the talent to succeed and move on to the next level with his skills and team comes first attitude. As he is very modest towards his success.
