Hilliard Bradley
Emmanuel Teah Jr. (OLB/SS 2023) – Emmanuel had a great off season and it has showed this season. He is very big, fast, and physical. On Friday he made a good amount of great plays and nice tackles. He brings his hips well through the ball carriers. He triggers downhill quickly with great leverage. Transitions well back to the pass and has the ability to stay really tight on the receivers. He plays with good leverage and sheds blocks well to the ball.

Jason Morbitzer (NG 2024) – Jason had a great game on the interior of the line on Friday night. He is quick off the snap and gets locked out with ease. He maintains good leverage in his gaps and plays on the other side of the LOS. He is strong and sheds blockers easily. Had a fumble recovery and has a knack for the ball.

Michael Hunkus (DB 2023) – Michael is a great player on both sides of the ball. On defense can play FS/CB and is very athletic and had advanced technique. Triggers downhill fast and makes good one on one tackles. He is patient in his read steps and plays the play well once it declares. He caps the defense and stays deeper than the deepest well. He is a leader out on the field and it shows in how others play.

Hilliard Darby
Cole Horvath (DB, 2024) – Cole is a very athletic player and competes at a high level. He is 6’0 175 and plays beyond his years. He has good technique and reads plays well. He transitions well from run to pass and stays in phase. Can play man coverage and lock down receivers. He is good in space and plays zone coverage without too much cushion. He is the ball hawk in the secondary and has good ball skills when it is in the air.

Ben Marsh Ben Marsh 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Hilliard Darby | 2023 State OH (LB, 2023) – Ben was a force on the Darby defense. He makes plays in the run and pass game all over the field. He plays beyond his age and reminds me of a seasoned college defensive player. Very patient and technical. Reads plays well and takes on blocks with his hands inside. He sheds blocks well away from his gap and makes tough tackles in the hole. Gets over the top quickly and makes good tackles on the perimeter. When called upon is a sufficient pass dropper with good closing speed on the routes underneath.
