Game Preview Ocean Springs Vs Clinton

The coaches and Athletes are hoping that this momentum can be capitalized upon and lead them to a winning season. <br><br>Clinton Arrowheads will be playing in their first season game against a very well coached team. However when these two teams met at the same time last year the competition was intense. The contest became a high scoring game that ended in double overtime. Therefore this game has great significance to both teams. Last year as a junior Bray did an excellent job as a passer throwing for over 2,000 yards, 30 Touchdowns and only 3 Interceptions. Additionally Hubbard gashed defenses last year as a rusher for over 1,200 yards proving his dual threat capabilities. Bray has shown tremendous growth from his sophomore to his junior year therefore one would expect that growth to continue into 2023. The results of Thursday's game will be very dependent on Hubbards performances.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>John Coulter, </strong>6-0 170 RB Class of 2023<br>John Coulter is a running back for Ocean Springs who has shown excellent potential last year and in the game last week. Every time John's number is called he carries the ball well averaging over 10 yards per carry. It'll be interesting to note exactly how John's coaches utilize his skill set and abilities however, it is clear that he is a playmaker. John Coulter will certainly have to be a big factor to the results of Thursday's game</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Keshawn Thomas, </strong>6-1 210 DE Class of 2023<br>Keshawn is a force to be reckoned with on defense. Thomas is consistently playing in his opponents backfield, shedding blocks and tackling the ball carrier for a loss. Thomas's tenacity is evident in the way he pursues the ball and his violence with every tackle. Last season Keshawn was one of Ocean Springs' leading tacklers. Last year he threw for over 1,000 yards and added another near 500 yards on the ground. Jordyn's statistics are somewhat skewed due to the nature of the offensive scheme surrounding him. Nevertheless Jordyn still has made the most of every opportunity and leads his offense with command. His ability to make defenders miss and break tackles has allowed for him to have a great year in 2022. This year season 2023 Jakobe has continue to improve as a running back and will look to eclispe his performances of last year. Jakobe almost hit 1,000 yards rushing for the season with 15 Touchdowns to his name. In order for his team to have a chance he needs to be another key factor in Thursday's game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
