The Springboro Panthers are also 2-0 and last week, they defeated Lebanon 21-19 in what was an awesome game. There are several talented players from both teams and here are five players to keep an eye on during the game.
Liam plays as a DE. Against the pass, he displays very good burst off the ball and uses his very good athletic ability to penetrate the LOS. He shows good play speed in pursuit and pressures the QB into passing the ball earlier than anticipated. Against the run, he displays good hands as he delivers a well timed punch to the frame of the OT. He effectively uses his good play strength to shed the block before locating the RB. He squares his shoulders and delivers a big hit preventing a gain of significant yardage.
Evan plays as a LG. While run blocking, he generates movement at the point of attack with his good hands and quality play strength as he drives the DT off the ball with ease. He shows excellent physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for a pancake. He shows very good athletic ability while pulling before easily overpowering LB to give the RB room to run. In pass pro, he plays with a good wide base while bending at the knee and keeps his feet moving. He anchors well against the DT with his play strength and leverage.

Zack plays as a SS. Against the pass, he patrols his zone with good athletic ability while effectively reading the QB. He shows very good closing speed in pursuit of the slot WR and delivers a nice form tackle preventing a big gain. In man coverage, he uses his quality play speed to stay in phase with the slot WR down the field. Against the run, he uses his good football intelligence to key and diagnose the play. Shows good range and instincts in pursuit before making the tackle after a short gain.
He moves very well in the pocket showing very good poise with defenders around him while keeping his eyes downfield as he reads the defense. He delivers the deep ball with very good accuracy and touch for a touchdown. He uses his great mobility to escape the rush and delivers an accurate ball while on the move. He displays very good athletic ability and play speed as he is able to pick up significant yardage on his own. He shows great toughness as he lowers his shoulder against DB before falling forward for extra yardage.

Brayden plays as a slot WR. He shows very good quickness off the LOS before getting behind the DB. He shows good hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem. He tracks the ball well in the air before showing good concentration as he makes the catch with the DB hand in his face. He exhibits very good contact balance as he breaks tackles from larger defenders with ease. He displays quality competitive toughness as his play improves in the redzone.
