These young men are across the board with college potential at all the various levels. We’re here to highlight their improvements and updates in their recruiting. Without further ado, let’s dive into part six of this multi-part series diving into the stock risers in the class of 23.
Mr. Rugai is a high GPA young man that gets it done in the classroom as well as on the football field. This young man can get through the line of scrimmage quickly and once he does he can use his elusiveness to make the first defender miss before breaking a long run. Currently, he holds interest from various levels but hasn’t gotten his first offer as of yet. As he aims to continue his performance from last fall, keep an eye on him this fall. Twitter
When people say the saying “Speed Kills” that’s the epitome of Mr. Rogers on the football field. His ability to win over the top at receiver as well as set his team up well in the return game is one to keep an eye on this fall season. Being a part of a talented Mahomet-Seymour team, there will be a lot of opportunities for him to work one on one. Currently, he holds interest from the next level but doesn’t have that first offer under his belt. If he’s able to continue to impress as he has in his Junior season highlights that the first offer will come sooner than later. Twitter
Highlights
Mr. Salomon might be one of the more overlooked QBs in the state. His ability to work both in platform and on the run are one to keep an eye on this fall season. There are countless times when he makes something out of nothing to keep the chains moving and has some foot quicks to him as well. Currently, he holds no offers but does have some interest from the next level. With that being said, don’t sleep on this young man as he can very well cause headaches for opposing defenses. Twitter
Highlights
Speaking of overlooked QBs, Mr. Martino is in the same boat. This young man’s ability to stand in the pocket and get the ball off under pressure as a defender is in his face is impressive to say the least. Let’s not discount his arm strength either as he can make all level throws (level 1, level 2, & level 3). With that being said, he currently holds no offers but I expect that to change after his Senior season performance. Whoever ends up picking up this talented QB is going to be happy the next four years.
Highlights
Mr. Thomas is a versatile young man that can get it done on both sides of the ball. On offense, his ability to be a downhill runner and play through contact is one to watch as he continues to drive his feet through the whistle. On defense, his high motor and tenacity in his pass rush result in him disrupting plays on a consistent basis. Look for this young man to make his impact felt on both sides of the ball this fall season.
