There were several talented players whose performances throughout last season and Summer Camp performances propel them to move up amongst the list of ranked players. The players listed moved up in the rankings and have been selected for this preview.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='378987' first='Isaiah' last='Crumpler'], 6'0" 175 (No. 1 DB, No. 20 Overall), DH Conley HS</strong>. Isaiah displayed good patience to let plays develop before reacting. He displayed a good change of direction and technique along with speed to cover wide receivers, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. He finished last season with 85 total tackles, 4 of the tackles were for losses. Isaiah has received a Power 5 offer, and more are expected to come in as he continues his high-level of play on the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='378962' first='Bryce' last='Young'], 6'4" 215 (No. 2 DL, No. 29 Overall), Charlotte Christian HS</strong>. Bryce displayed good technique and quickness to control blockers while moving past them to make stops. He is expected to step up his performance on the field to make an impact on the defensive line. Bryce's performance on the field will generate recruiting interest for him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='381015' first='Melik' last='Thomas'], 6'0" 195 (No. 10 LB, No. 80 Overall), Seventy-First HS</strong>. Melik displayed good technique and good lateral movement to close quickly on the ball carrier for the stop. He runs well in the open field and covers a lot of ground quickly. He finished last season with 60 total tackles, 17 of the tackles were for losses. Melik is expected to be one of the leaders on the defensive unit during the upcoming season. His performance on the field will generate recruiting interest for him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='379199' first='Komar' last='Carter'], 6'3" 300 (No. 6 OL, No. 48 Overall), Richmond Sr. HS</strong>. Komar displayed good technique and upper body strength to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He is expected to be one of the leaders and anchor the offensive line during the upcoming season. Tyler displayed good speed and vision on the field while running inside for tough yardage. He displayed speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field to gain big yardage. Tyler finished last season with 1,242 rushing yards and 19 TDs.
