2023 Rankings Update- New Defensive Additions!

This update, Gibson has made his debut as the 30th best overall prospect in the state and the 8th best DB! Recently, Gibson committed to Tennessee, and he and the rest of Hewitt Trussville's defense are going to be really fun to watch this fall- were definitely keeping our eyes on them!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413969' first='Jamal' last='Miles']- DB Pelham</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='413969' first='Jamal' last='Miles'] has steadily become a great DB in his time at Pelham and is now making his debut as the 54th best player in the state, and the 11th best DB! Over the course of the last year, Miles' recruitment has really opened up, and he has received offers from a ton of different all around like Kansas, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and more!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413970' first='Christopher' last='Pearson']- DB Orange Beach</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Christopher Pearson has been a great S the last few seasons that has flown underneath our radar for awhile now, thankfully, he now makes his debut as the 59th best prospect in the state, and the 13th best DB. Pearson has a ton of talents in the secondary, and after recieveing offers from Memphis, UCF, Minnesota, and more, Pearson elected to stay instate and recently committed to UAB.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413971' first='Will' last='James']- DB Theodore</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Will James makes his debut as the 63rd best player in the state, and the 14th best DB. James has been super reliable in coverage for Theodore- constatntly making plays on the ball by either breaking up/intercepting passes. With his elite speed paried with his size and abiliteies in coverage, Hart has had a great offseason- recieving a ton of offers from progrmas all over the nation. Recently, Hart also decided to stay instate by committing to Auburn.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413973' first='Kelvon' last='McBride']- LB Cottage Hill Christian</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kelvin McBridge has been dominant at LB for Cottage Hill Christian, and is making his debut as the 49th best player, and the 5th best LB in the state. McBride has a ton of talents- his pursuit, tackling, and play recognition are all great parts of his game. Recently, Mcbride decided to commit to Vanderbilt over schools like NC State, Arkansas State, and more.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='396244' first='Hunter' last='Jones']- LB Hewitt Trussville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hunter Jones was a tackling machine last season for Hewitt Trussville, and is already to a great start this fall as well. Last fall, Jones recorded 109 tackles (9 for loss)- constantly making plays for his defense. In his first game this season, Jones already recorded 14 tackles- a great start to his senior season and we will definitely be keeping track of keep watch of him this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
