The first year starter led the Sharks to an 8-1 record and a spot into the state playoffs. Last season he passed for 1,789 yd, completing 64% of his passes with 21 touchdowns through the air. He also shows the ability to run with the ball rushing for 392 yd, averaging 8.7 yd per carry with six touchdowns and one 100 yard rushing game. He's a dual threat prospect that can beat you with his arms or his legs, shows good acceleration and shiftiness running the ball, and flashes the arm talent to make every throw needed. Last season he led Chaminade Madonna to the 3A State title game. He threw for 2061 yards and 19 touchdowns and also rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Bailey possesses prototype height and length, quick setup with balanced feet, shows a quick release and the ability to throw with accuracy at all three levels, has the arm strength to fit the ball through tight quarters. He's had a very strong spring and picked up his first offer in May from Doane University. He helped guide the Lions to a 7-4 record and a state playoff berth. In 2021 he passed for 1,832 yd, completing 63% of his passes with 18 passing touchdowns and a 95 QB rating. He flashes good ball placement on second third level throws, shows the ability to throw from different arm angles, possesses toughness in the pocket and will take hits and deliver strikes.
