<p>Folsom tight end [player_tooltip player_id='144958' first='Walker' last='Lyons'] announced his commitment to Stanford last Saturday. </p>   <p>Lyons had seven touchdowns for Folsom last season. He is 6-foot-3 with a 77 inch wing span and 33 inch arms. He is explosive out of his stance and has excellent body control.</p>   <p>He told 247Sports that he chose Stanford because of its track record of developing NFL tight ends. </p>   <p>Lyons is LDS and will serve a mission for the church before joining Stanford in 2024. He had 5.5 sacks last season.</p>   <p>Brandt chose Stanford over Cal in what he told 247Sports was a very close race.
