Team Preview: CE Jordan High Regroups

I have begun team previews of some of the top teams in the Raleigh/Durham region.  There are a lot of talented players throughout the region.  The previews will highlight the recruits on the teams featured.  A high level of competition is expected as the high school season starts in late August. CE Jordan High has several players returning from last season as they look for success during the upcoming season.  [player_tooltip player_id="376933" first="Aidan" last="Kelly"] (6'2" 200, QB) will lead the offensive unit which will have an improved running game.  He will hand the ball to [player_tooltip player_id="363263" first="Luke" last="Dale"] (6'1" 205, RB) and [player_tooltip player_id="380042" first="Amareon" last="Blue"] (5'8" 170, RB).  Luke is expected to be fully covered from a knee injury and gain tough yardage while running inside.  Amareon will use his speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field to gain yardage.  He finished last season with 10 total TDs.  Aidan will have a big target to deliver passes to in [player_tooltip player_id="363265" first="Caiden" last="Chilausky"] (6'6" 215, TE).  Caiden is expected to use his body to shield defenders and make catches.  [player_tooltip player_id="304423" first="Trevor" last="Dury"] (6'6" 285, OL), [player_tooltip player_id="363255" first="Derek" last="Hunter II"] (5'11" 350, OL), [player_tooltip player_id="363256" first="Brandon" last="Wilder"] (6'3" 200, OL), and [player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tyler" last="Clark"] (6'3" 260, OL) are technique-sound offensive linemen who will open lanes for the running backs and protect the quarterback. [player_tooltip player_id="363255" first="Derek" last="Hunter II"] (5'11" 350, DL) and [player_tooltip player_id="363256" first="Brandon" last="Wilder"] (6'3" 200, DL) will use technique and upper body strength to control blockers and make stops.  They are expected to lead and anchor the defensive line.  [player_tooltip player_id="363263" first="Luke" last="Dale"] (6'1" 205, LB) and [player_tooltip player_id="363264" first="Isaac" last="Geer"] (6'1" 195, LB) are expected to lead the second level of defense.  [player_tooltip player_id="380042" first="Amareon" last="Blue"] (5'8" 170, DB), Isaiah Harris (5'8" 160, DB), [player_tooltip player_id="363250" first="Josiah" last="Stevens"] (5'8" 160, DB), and Zhyiaz Wilder (5'7" 130, DB) are technique-sound defensive backs who utilizes speed to make it difficult for receivers to make catches.  CE Jordan is expected to be competitive during the upcoming season and advance into the state playoffs.
