Bryson Kelly, 6-3 320, OL, Noxubee Co, 2023
Bryson simply gets it done on the offensive line. He is very smooth with those skills too. After he rips his opponent a new alignment he just jogs back to the huddle like he’s drinking lemonade in 70 degree weather on the beach. He uses his hands to his advantage. He had ten inch hands that lock down when they get on you. He is patient with those hands and allows the defender to get to him before he attacks. Bryson also moves his feet like he needs to. Kid is very polished and I think he will be a guy that raises some eyebrows this year. He definitely needs to stay active in promoting himself. He has something college coaches wants to see. Great size and can move. I think he will make a great guard on the next level.
AJ Little, 6-0 180, WR, Noxubee Co, 2023
AJ was lights out yesterday. This kid knows how to get open and he works very hard every rep. He looked great in drills today. He stays low, has good posture and is quick changing directions when running cones. He has very good hands and has a nice collection of routes. We have talked about him so much, but this kid deserves it. He is very impressive every time he steps on the field. He is getting a lot better and he can build a nice name up for himself with some great games this season.
Xavier Hunt, 5-10 150, QB, Louisville, 2025
Hunt was the QB of the day. He shows nice mechanics and can spin the ball. After the broke the skilled campers down to different 7v7 teams he lead his squad to the championship. They lost, but he did a great job competing with mostly guys he never played with before. He was slinging the ball around making good completions. He was being vocal with his team yesterday. He still has some growing to do. At this point he just needs to see the field better and understand defenses more. Most are still wanting to see what this kid is like during the season before he can be mentioned with that high profile 2025 class of QBs in the state of Mississippi.
Braylon Burnside Braylon Burnside 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Starkville | 2024 State MS “Stonka”, 6-1 185, ATH, Starkville, 2024
Here we are again talking about Stonka and I don’t mind one bit. Kid is a true stud. Is there much more to say about a kid who is already ranked a four star? He was amazing again today. The favorite part of today was seeing him help out some campers who aren’t as polished as he is. He is a very humble kid that loves to compete. He knows how to get open and make a play. He has great hands and let’s not forget he is very nice on defense too. It’s hard to compete passes in his area cause he has such good offensive skills that he brings to the defensive side.
Laterrius Haynes, 6-0 180, DB, Louisville, 2023
This guy here is another stud who is flying under the radar. This kid can do a lot of things on the gridiron. He can even line up and play LB and put some good sticks on your RB. Today he was very elusive in his drills. He worked out with the LBs due to him playing that some with his varsity team. He still showed off those great hips in 7v7. I think that he can do a better job of using those eyes to hip skills. Sometimes he let’s receivers get too much separation relying on his athleticism to make up for him. That won’t always workout in his favoday.
CJ Willis CJ Willis 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Starkville | 2023 State MS , 6-0 180, DB, Starkville, 2023
CJ was very smooth today with his moves today. He is a good kid that listens and deserves to continue his playing days at the next level. Kid has great size and can be taught to be a very high profile defensive back. He has great footwork and he breaks on the ball well. He sits back in coverage and reads like he is supposed to. He doesn’t do a lot of guessing and pays attention to details on the field.
