Here are some exceptional athletes who have tremendous talent but are passed over due to the size or reputation of their program.
Laza Beavers, Taylorsville High School, 6-1 145, Class of 2025
Laza is a monster of an athlete. This kid played some incredible football as a freshman and is aiming to continue his uphill trajectory to make his name known in Mississippi. He comes from a small town with about 1,300 people but that’s not stopping him from playing ball. As a freshman, Laza put up 1,600+ passing yards for 18 TDs and a healthy 53% completion rate. Beavers displays the talent of a much more seasoned athlete by keeping his composure in the pocket and delivering dimes with every pass. Laza Beavers may just be one of the most underrated athletes in the state. Recruiters should certainly keep an eye on him as he progresses through the rest of his seasons.

His tenacity, skill, and ability make him a solid athlete however he is often overlooked. Nevertheless, Evan Pounders certainly possess the skill set necessary to be productive at the colligate level.

Dee Rush, Simmons High School, 6-1, 202 Class of 2023
Dee Rush is an individual who is certainly set to compete this fall. As a passer Dee is one of the most accurate and productive QBs in his class. This is evident in his near 1,000-yard passing season, 70% completion rate and his 16 to 1 TD/INT ratio. To add to his resume Dee is also capable of running the ball at an extremely productive rate. This past season he ran for over 700 yards and 17 additional touchdowns displaying his dual-threat ability and making it difficult for defenses to be effective in either sense.
