Caden DeVries – 5’9″ 181lbs, MLB/FB, Senior
Caden DeVries is a leader of a defense that every team needs and has to have to be a good team. He is an elite coverage linebacker with the ability to transition in-zone coverage from one defender to another with ease. If you do not want him in a zone, he can line up with receivers and play great one-on-one coverage. His defensive IQ is simply off the charts by calling out audibles before they happen and informing his team what play is coming up next. He manages quite well as a defensive run stopper too, filling in gaps and getting to ball carriers most times for a loss. DeVries is the leader that you want on your defense any time you need a leader.
Evan Bobick – 6’0″ 145lbs, WR, Junior
Evan Bobick gives you the best of both worlds with being a slot receiver. Bobick is a tall and lanky receiver who creates separation using his lanky arms and long legs to create great separation. As a slot receiver, he is nimble and quick and can move past defenders with his footwork, combined with his size he is a matchup nightmare for anyone on the defense. He excels as a great red zone threat for his ability to break off the line fast and get above defenders in the end zone. In terms of wide receivers he also an exceptional blocker who can give his team great verticality and utility when they need him too.
Trent Olson – 6’1″ 177lbs, TE, Senior
Trent Olson might as well be considered your 6th offensive lineman with how well he can block and stop rushers from coming off the edge. His trait he excels the most in his blocking, with great use of hands to jam defenders without drawing many penalties at all. He is a dream tight-end that any quarterback would want on their team for his blocking, not to mention his receiving ability. He uses verticality along with his sheer strength to overpower defenders to get to the ball. With his versatility on offense, Madison will be locked and loaded with their offense to get back to that 12-0 record.
Joe Gors – 5’9″ 170lbs, OLB/FB, Senior
Joe Gors will not being the biggest pass rusher around, he uses that to his advantage to be a great one. Gors is a finesse rusher is the best way to explain it, using small moves to get past lineman instead of bruting through. He uses keen footwork and juke moves to get past lineman and makes his way fast to the quarterback. It is hard to stop Gors when he gets a full head of steam, using his speed with his size makes him a deadly edge threat. Not to mention he can play great in coverage when you need a man who can get to the ball and break up a pass fast. On offense, he is used as most a run blocker who can create holes for his running back. Gors is a great example of how you should play to your advantage and make them a reason why you are so dominant at your position.
