He is a smooth runner out of the backfield that runs North and South and shows good vision near the LOS while waiting for his blocks to develop and has cutback abilities when forcing defenders to take bad angles. Out of the backfield, he has strong hands and gets upfield while offering a strong running style that makes him tough to tackle in the open field. Physical in pass protection, he is a tough kid that welcomes contact and will be a key piece of a explosive Folsom offense in 2022. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"style":{"typography":{"fontStyle":"normal","fontWeight":"700"}}} --> <p style="font-style:normal;font-weight:700">[player_tooltip player_id=’384803’ first=’Tyler’ last=’Jacklich’], Central Catholic HS 2023</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jacklich will find his home at linebacker at the college level and has Idaho and Western Oregon offers, but should have a breakout season running the rock this Fall for the physical Central Catholic offense. Quick twitched with good feet and movement abilities, he is a downhill punishing runner that shows third level speed and finishes runs with physicality and violence. He can easily break arm and ankle tackles near the LOS while showing contact balance and bounces off tacklers while also able to make people miss with short area quickness and lateral movement abilities. He is a strong low to the ground runner with a natural forward lean through the hole and has deceptive speed in the open field. Through the first level, he is patient when running counters and waiting for his blocks to develop and shows an open field burst while running through lower body tackles with strong body control and bounces off arm tackles. Also a very well built prospect, he makes tough catches look smooth and easy out of the backfield and also offers return abilities as well. Showing good initial acceleration, he is a downhill runner that can run tough inside while fast enough to gain the edge and turn the corner forcing bad angles on the outside. In traffic, he shows good lateral movement abilities, quick feet and COD while packing a punch when finishing runs and plays much tougher than his size.
