<p><strong>DB</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>1.[player_tooltip player_id="110179" first="Drew" last="Rodriguez"] 6-2 200 <strong>(COMMITTED: Colorado St)</strong> Easily one of the fastest rising stocks of any player in the NW. As noted earlier, credit to the Rams on grabbing early commitments from two of Oregon's best ([player_tooltip player_id="147240" first="Richie" last="Anderson"]). The 3* standout might be the most versatile athlete in Oregon, projecting as a 1st team kid on O, D and as a return man. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>2.[player_tooltip player_id="376116" first="Sanborne" last="Melson"] 6-1 190 Jefferson- Melson's stock shot through the roof this off season. He will have to prove it on the field but all the intangibles are there, drawing praise from some of the top coaches in the state and earning a 3* ranking by 247. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>3.[player_tooltip player_id="217272" first="Charlie" last="Ozolin"] 6-1 180 Summit- One of the highest ceilings of any athlete in Oregon. You can expect numerous Ivy League schools to be vying for his services, as he will project as a 1st team all-state kid on both sides of the football at the 5A level.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>4.[player_tooltip player_id="110204" first="Baylor" last="Corbin"] 6-2 175 Lakeridge- Corbin caught 47 passes over the last two seasons at receiver. That said as I like him at DB where he was clutch most of last year. His size at the position makes him an appealing recruit, where he made 33 total tackles, with 2 INTs and 6 PBUs in 2021. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>5.[player_tooltip player_id="270073" first="Milan" last="Clark"] 6-2 170 Grant- Clark was potentially the most versatile underclassmen in the PIL last season, where he earned 1st team honors on D and 2nd team on O. He should be able to lockdown any WR within the conference. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>6.[player_tooltip player_id="119072" first="Ty" last="Pugliano"] 5-10 185 North Medford- Another kid who has the potential of being the SWC Player of the Year on O and D. From a projection standpoint there are question marks because of size but not talent. The kid is the real deal. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>7.[player_tooltip player_id="270180" first="Marshune" last="Waters"] 6-0 165 Grant- The 1st team all-league returner is right there with teammate [player_tooltip player_id="270073" first="Milan" last="Clark"] from a versatility standpoint. He did well in the Les Schwab Bowl and should have a big senior season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>8.[player_tooltip player_id="110232" first="Brady" last="Crenshaw"] 6-1 185 Lebanon- Crenshaw projects at Safety and could also be one of 5As best offensively. He has had an outstanding off season and will be one of the conference POY favorites. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>9.[player_tooltip player_id="110579" first="Garrett" last="Speer"] 6-0 190 Jesuit- Speer was one of the top junior defenders in the state, earning 1st team all-league and honorable mention all-state honors at LB. He projects as more of a strong safety at the collegiate level. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>10.[player_tooltip player_id="205819" first="Nick" last="Ferrero"] 5-11 170 Jesuit- What will be a three year all conference DB, racking up 2nd team all-Metro honors last year. This is one of the deepest and most experienced Crusader teams in some time because of kids like Ferrero.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>11.[player_tooltip player_id="270210" first="Logan" last="Fry"] 6-0 170 Oregon City- Fry had an impressive junior campaign, garnering 2nd team all-TRL accolades in the state's toughest conference. The Pioneers bring back double digit all league athletes.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>12.[player_tooltip player_id="270182" first="Hudson" last="Staats"] 6-0 165 West Linn- This kids stock continues to rise. He had a nice junior season making 45 total tackles to go along with 3 INTs and 9 PBUs. The Lions projected #1 ranked status could help on the recruiting front.</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>13.[player_tooltip player_id="376154" first="Eli" last="Jacobs"] 6-2 180 Roseburg- Most aren't really aware as Jacobs quietly led the conference in INTs as a junior. He's a big athlete who can play. The Indians will compete in a competitive SWC. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>14.[player_tooltip player_id="270193" first="Erick" last="Gonzalez"] 5-10 160 North Salem- Last year Gonzalez was one of the top underclassmen in Oregon at the 5A level. They will bump up to 6A this season and be tested, where he still projects as one of the most versatile kids in the Valley. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>15.[player_tooltip player_id="110233" first="Darien" last="Witham"] 5-10 170 Thurston- Speaking of versatile, Witham play can play 4-5 different positions on the field well, earning 1st team all-league honors at DB in 2021. He will be a key part of the offense but project on D collegiately. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>15tie. [player_tooltip player_id="272218" first="Mitchell" last="George"] 5-11 195 Marshfield- George played LB for the Pirates as a junior, putting up some ridiculouis #s (106 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss) and helping his team to the 4A state title. He will be a Oregon 4A Defensive POY favorite while projecting as more of a Strong Safety collegiately. </p>
