Delray Atlantic Ready To Get Back

<strong>DELRAY BEACH ATLANTIC FOOTBALL</strong><strong> 2022</strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Jamael Stewart <strong>2021 Record:</strong> 5-6 <strong>THE EAGLES</strong> There is no hiding the fact that there has been little joy around this campus over the past two years. Despite making the state playoffs and getting beaten in the first round, 43-7, by Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, there is a sense that things need to get back to where this program was for a long period of time. To get back to that level, this program needs to win the games that they used to come out on top – like Fort Lauderdale (30-19), Doral Academy (17-7) and Palm Beach Gardens (20-17) – all programs that they never had any problems with in the past. In addition to the St. Thomas Aquinas loss, the other setbacks came against state playoff programs – like Naples (39-10) and St. Petersburg Lakewood (34-28). While this program won't dwell on those losses, they will use those games to fuel the fire – which they did this past spring and into the summer. Also, they are not forgetting about the wins against Lake Worth (56-0), Belle Glade Glades Central (33-14), Boca Raton Olympic Heights (69-0), Sunrise Piper (37-0) and Pompano Beach Blanche Ely (43-14).
