Continue ReadingThe prospects in the class of 2024 are some of the most talented the state of Arkansas has seen in some time. We have seen a number of additions and debuts to the class of Arkansas 2024 prospect rankings. As always, the Prep RedZone Arkansas staff will continue to add to the list and make adjustments to the list over the next few months. In this article, we are going to look at some new additions to pay attention to this season.
CJ Brown-Athlete-Bentonville-6’1” 180-Pounds
One of the most dynamic playmakers in the state will have the opportunity to light up opposing defenses in the 7-A West. From a receiving perspective, Brown is a prospect that has little to no trouble stretching the field. With multiple scholarship offers to his credit, Brown is going to add to his total this upcoming season. The versatility that Brown has is going to be on full display this season. Brown and the Tigers have an opportunity to take home a state championship this season and I would not be surprised to see a deep playoff run this season.
Drake Fowler-Defensive Back-Bryant-6’3” 175-Pounds
The Bryant Hornets have built a dynasty over the past few years and are looking to continue a dominant trend of football. Drake Fowler is a defensive back that has a nose for the football and the talent to take it back the opposite direction. Fowler is a prospect that is going terrorize opposing offenses this season. Bryant has an extremely talented secondary and he is going be big component of the Bryant defense this season. After picking off six passes a season ago, I expect Fowler to have a big season in 2022.
Xiyiah Spencer-Cole-Wide Receiver-Fayetteville-6’0” 145-Pounds
The Fayetteville Bulldogs are going to be looking for wide receivers to make plays in the passing game this season. Xiyiah Spencer-Cole has had an impressive spring and offseason. He has proven to be a wide receiver that can make big plays in the passing game. Spencer-Cole does a good job of creating separation from opposing defensive backs and using his athletic ability to go up and haul in the reception. He is a prospect that I expect to help open up Fayetteville’s offense this season and open some eyes in the process.
Noah Britton-Running Back-Bauxite-5’9” 190-Pounds
One prospect that has opened eyes with his impressive play has been Bauxite running back Noah Britton. Britton had tremendous showings at the Arkansas and Notre Dame camps. Britton has displayed the ability to rush the ball between the tackles and also cut it to the outside. He is a back that can be used effectively in the passing game. Britton has the potential to cause plenty of headaches in the run and passing game for opposing defenses this season.
Cooper Kindt-Tight End-Lake Hamilton-6’4” 240-Pounds
Kindt is a tight end that can hurt you in the running game and the passing game. He is a physical blocker and does an excellent job of opening up lanes for his teammates. However, he is a talented receiver in the passing game. Kindt does an impressive job of using his physical ability to create separation. He is a threat in the red zone. Kindt has the size and the talent to go up and haul in receptions. Lake Hamilton always has a strong rushing attack, but this season keep an eye on Kindt as well. He is going to open some eyes.
Isaac Wallis-Defensive Line-Batesville Southside-6’4” 200-Pounds
Wallis is an extremely versatile player for the Southerners of Southside. He has the size and the talent to play the edge rusher spot or play the linebacker position. The film last season shows that he was pretty much in on ever tackle last season. Wallis racked up 73 tackles and 13 sacks a year ago. The speed he has is something that presents problems for opposing offensive lines. He has earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas-Monticello and I would expect him to earn some more this season. If you have not had a chance to watch him yet, I would recommend him catching him on a Friday night this fall.
