J"Marion Burnette 6’1 210 RB
Burnette is a running back who’s proficient in all facets of the game. Though he doesn’t have any elite traits, his all-around game and size make him one of the state’s better running backs. With a 200+ pound frame, he moves well laterally and in straight-line situations. In addition, he has substantial burst and an explosive ability in spurts, making him a great one cut back in the similar in mold Brian Robinson. Additionally, Burnette is physical, has excellent contact balance, and generates solid yardage after contact. With a tremendous foundational skill set and next-level size, look for Burnette to be the offense’s focal point and carry his team throughout the season.

Nino Freeman, 6’4 170 QB
As a freshman, Freeman showed a ton of potential and an ability to win despite his youth. Though he is a younger prospect, Freeman has a lot of maturity to his game. Though he won’t wow you with jaw-dropping scrambles and elusiveness – his pocket presence is top tier. In addition, he shows nice mobility when stepping up, climbing pockets, and feeling trouble from his blindside. This ability ties into his skill of keeping his eyes downfield even when he’s in the midst of chaos- which is very rare in freshman QBs. Freeman is also highly accurate in the quick game and makes swift decisions. This skill makes the offense efficient and opens up the deep ball. Lastly, Freeman is athletic enough to be a play extender and allow his WRs to create space. Though he won’t be as dynamic of a scrambler, his playmaking ability out the pocket is sufficient. With prototypical height and a solid skill set, look for Freeman’s frame and game mature to the next level.

Brody Stewart Brody Stewart 6'3" | 310 lbs | OL Andalusia | 2023 State AL 6’2 311 OL
Stewart is a gritty mauler with next-level size and skill, which is a pancake machine and a player that can be the centerpiece of a successful offensive line. Despite being a 300-pounder, Stewart’s mobility and footwork are impressive. This allows him to excel in zone blocking while advancing to the second level to seal linebackers. Stewart also has tremendous grip strength and can completely take a defender out of the play. Lastly and most importantly, he is a finisher in the run game. He plays to whistle and is always looking to demoralize defenders with pancakes and impact blocks. Look for Stewart to lead the way in the run game and protect his QB’s blindside at a high level.

Landen Marshall 6’3 285 DT/TE
Marshall is an interior lineman who can make plays with speed and quickness. As an interior presence, he shows a solid blend of size, speed, and strength, making him a versatile piece on the defensive line that can be moved around depending on the situation. Marshall has shown an ability to take on double teams, be physical at the point of attack, and win with his strength while also being able to beat opposing linemen to the spot, shoot the gap, and use his uncanny closing speed to make tackles in the backfield. Look for Marshall to make splash plays throughout the season and be an anchor on the defensive line.
