Logan Rodriguez, Sunnyside High School, 6-1 170 QB Class of 2022
Logan has had quite an impressive high school career putting up tremendous statistics each season. Logan has been playing starting Quarterback for his team since sophomore year which has helped him develop into a great leader for his teammates. This past season Logan was set on producing. He threw the ball for over 2,700 yards, 23 TDs, and only 3 interceptions which lead to him being the recipient of the CBBN Offensive MVP Award. His completion rate of 62% is above average displaying his ability to make good decisions with the football under pressure. This upcoming fall Logan is going to be joining Pacific Lutheran University where he will continue to make his name known. It is great to see local talent play at programs throughout the state. I am certain that Logan will be an impact player while at PLU.

Myles Newhouse, Sunnyside High School, 6-1 203 RB Class of 2022
Myles is an exceptional running back who was the complement to an elite passing game. Myles made sure that the defense also honored the rushing game as he broke for over 1,200 yards this past season. In addition to yards, Myles consistently found the endzone for a total of 13 TDs for the season. What sets Newhouse apart is his commitment to improvement. Throughout his high school career, one can see the progression of his fundamentals and technique as he applies them to his game. His exceptional size and speed are also notable aspects to focus on. He can break tackles in the box and break away in the open field. Myles has the ability to be impactful at many D2 or D3 programs throughout the nation, programs looking to further bolster their running games should look no further than Myles.
Gunnar Peterson, Eastmont High School, 5-9 165 RB Class of 2024
Gunnar is an athlete with tremendous potential. As a sophomore Gunnar rushed for near 1,000 yards. The fact that he is already nearing the 1,000-yard mark as an underclassman is something that cannot go ignored. If Gunnar continues on this path he is certain to gain attention from big-time programs such as UW, Oregon, or other FBS teams. It would be beneficial to watch Peterson’s progress as a Junior and Senior. If he can produce similar seasons to 2021 as well as improve his fundamentals and technique he is surely an underrated prospect.
