This is going to be a long series of new additions to our rankings to make sure that each young man is highlighted. That being said, there are P5 caliber recruits down to D3/JUCO recruits. The moral of the story, each of these young men did the work and deserved a spot in our rankings. We’re here to highlight their hard work. Without further ado, let’s take a look at Pt. 5 of our New Additions to the 24’ Rankings.
Will Potter Will Potter 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Downers Grove South | 2024 IL Twitter
Mr. Potter flashes his ability to come down from single high to play the alley in run support from the safety position. Here, he can either secure the tackle in open space or meet the ball carrier on the perimeter securing the tackle for no gain on the play. What stands out the most about this young man’s game is his ability to close quickly in run support and put himself in positions to make plays on the ball. Overall, I’m very interested to see what position he molds into at the next level as he has potential to play various positions with his skillset to stop the run and play the ball in coverage.
Maurice Densmore Maurice Densmore 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Mount Carmel | 2024 State IL Twitter
Mr. Densmore is a receiver that can both on the outside and in the slot, both of which he flashes his abilities. What I’m most excited to see out of this young man this fall season is his ability to work through traffic and set up his routes. In his highlights below, he flashes his ability to set up his route by stemming outside before using a speed cut at the top of the route to regain inside leverage to secure the contested catch for six. When he’s working through traffic, he flashes his ability to get off the jam quickly and find the soft spot in zone coverage. He not only gets open for his quarterback, but this young man also takes the heavy hit across the middle of the field by shrugging it off before getting vertical gaining extra yards on the play. Overall, the flashes and glimpses this young man showcases have me very excited to see how he produces against Varsity competition. Keep a close eye on this young man as he can very well turn heads in his conference and make his mark.
Luke Elsea Luke Elsea 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Waubonsie Valley | 2024 IL Twitter
Mr. Elsea flashes his ability to add touch on the ball when making corner pylon throws as he puts the ball only where his receiver can get it to secure the touchdown grab. This young man can make level 2 throws across the middle of the field putting it right in the soft spot between the linebacker playing underneath and the safety playing over the top. Also flashes his ability to add easy velocity across all level throws – a trait to keep an eye on this fall season. Overall, I’m interested to see how much of his potential comes to light this fall after having a full off season to hone his craft further. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see this young man make various throws (in platform and on the move) on a consistent basis this season.
Michael Kuehl Michael Kuehl 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Lincoln Way Central | 2024 IL Twitter
Mr. Kuehl flashes his compact delivery/release in his highlights as well as being able to lead his receivers open. What stands out about this young man is his ability to hit cover 2 holes along the sideline with the touch he adds on the ball. This young man also has some legs to him as he can run the option and get through the line of scrimmage quickly flashing his foot quicks to gain a step on 2nd level defenders. Overall, this young man will get to learn from Standout Cole Crafton Cole Crafton 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Lincoln Way West | 2024 State IL this season and compete throughout.
Mark Ivanisevic Mark Ivanisevic 6'1" | 225 lbs | OL Hinsdale Central | 2024 IL
Mr. Ivanisevic can latch on quickly and drive the defender through the whistle, even when he’s on the backside of the play. This young man is quick out of his stance and aggressive at the point of attack where he can jolt the defender upright to get his hands inside. What stands out about this young man is his ability to reposition his hands if they’re in a bad spot off initial contact, this allows him to regain leverage and create a hole for his ball carrier to get through. Now, Mr. Ivanisevic does flash his pass protection abilities. Here, he flashes his ability to close the door on the rushing defensive end and mirror the rushing defender to keep the pocket clean. Overall, this young man is prone to see his stock rise after his fall season production.
Charlie Bolsoni Charlie Bolsoni 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR St.Charles East | 2024 IL Twitter
Mr. Bolsoni does a good job tracking the ball on deep shots downfield, whether that’s on post corners or fade routes, where he can not only look the ball in but also secure the contested catch when the defender is draped all over him for six. This young man flashes his ability to close space on the defender playing in off coverage to win over the top, secure the catch in the middle of the field, and get vertical once he makes the first defender miss in open space to break a long run. Overall, I’m excited to see how Mr. Bolsoni produces this fall season and the mismatches he produces lining up both on the outside and in the slot.
