OL Aren Monk Aren Monk 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Capital | 2025 State ID , Eagle HS
Monk is amongst the regions best within the 2025 class and is an interior mauler that can block in space and finishes blocks downfield. Starting as a Freshman during the 2021 season, he is a physical kid with a strong build that wins with power and leverage at the POA while showing a strong base, leg drive and finish through contact. Still three years left in his prep career, he will be one of the top blockers Idaho has to offer over the next few years.
DB/WR Trey Jacobsen, Rocky Mountain HS
Jacobsen should find his home on the defensive side of the ball at the next level and is a fluid and natural athlete with length and size, especially for his age. At a legit 6’1″ and some change, he is a ball hawk in the backend that baits quarterbacks into bad throws and shows strong ball skills, breaking abilities and natural instincts when jumping routes. Also a tremendous open field tackler that takes good angles to ball carriers and has a quick trigger/closing speed, he should wind up at the FBS level by the time its all said and done.
TE/DE Jackson Rasmussen, Owyhee HS
Rasmussen is an elite basketball player that is one to keep a close eye on as he progresses through high school. With great size at 6’7 and a huge catch radius with a big frame, he could develop into a very intriguing prospect in the coming years. Still a raw talent and developing, he holds upside at the next level and could have a breakout season in 2022.
RB Taeshaun Reese, Rocky Mountain HS
Reese is a young emerging star out of the backfield and will be one of the top players across the state in 2022, regardless of class. A low to the ground compact runner, he is explosive through the first level with good vision in tight windows and flashes short area quickness in the hole while finishing runs downfield and welcoming contact. Also able to catch the ball effortlessly from various angles, he is a balanced back that can do a bit of everything and is another high level college prospect at the next level.
WR Kai Callen Kai Callen 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Highland | 2025 GA , Highland HS
Callen picked up his first offer from Idaho State this summer and should gather other FBS and FCS interest after his Sophomore season. He is a quick twitched receiver with downfield speed, strong hands and can make defenders miss in the open field while a precise route runner that can beat press/man coverage. Electric with the ball in his hands, he should be one of the states top playmakers during the 2022 season.
WR Isaiah Reed, Rocky Mountain HS
Reed is a sure fire high level college prospect with elite size, strength and the frame for the next level. In 2021, he was a big time contributor for one of the states top teams and is a big body receiver that can stretch the field and make contested catches. He can create separation in the open field, has strong hands in traffic with the ability to break tackles in the open field due to contact balance and lower body strength. Reed is a mismatch against smaller defensive backs and can run a diverse combination of routes.
