2024 Rankings Update, New Additions, OL Pt.2

We are glad to welcome in new additions to our 2024 Prep Redzone Pennsylvania Rankings this weekend. Our "New Additions" piece will highlight some of the new names that have been introduced to the rankings. Over 200+ new names have been discovered throughout my travels, that including camps and showcases, team practices, 7v7 tournaments as well as word of mouth from coaches around the state. Below are just some of the new offensive linemen added to our recent update. We hope to see each climb our rankings in the future. &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="268100" first="Soren" last="Stoltzfus"] | 6’2, 270 | Conestoga Valley</strong></span></em></span> Top-150 rank for our former PRZPA Stock Up Showcase Top Performer. Every time I check up on this kid he’s improving and developing in the right direction. I’ve talked about his position versatility when aligned inside, as well as his functional strength when I saw him live at camp. Very excited that Soren has been able to get his name out to those who aren’t familiar with his game this offseason. I wasn’t familiar until he showed up and showed out. We are excited to finally get him on the rankings and hopefully provide some exposure to coaches who might be out of the loop. Fleetwood has quite the intriguing roster, so if someone is coming to get a look at Yourkawitch, Riffle, Leister or Musitano, you’re going to notice this mammoth tackle immediately. I can see a top-100 ranking in his future. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="377504" first="Vinnie" last="Szydlik"] | 6’2, 220 | Council Rock South</strong></span></em></span> Szydlik’s latest film is short and lacking substantial reps, yet you can see his potential in a his 3-game tape. Szydlik’s listed as an offensive lineman primarily, yet I could see a significant boost in stock if he can work for more defensive tackle reps. His size suits his alignment well. A strong junior season full of quality reps will keep him on our rankings. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="326778" first="Ayden" last="Thompson"] | 6’1, 245 | Greensburg Salem</strong></span></em></span> Nice mixture of pass and run blocking reps. Thompson is a bottom half ranked prospect who looks to have the tools and build to develop into a top-half prospect after the conclusion of his junior campaign. Although his size may not be ideal for the tackle position, I could see Greensburg Salem continue to award Thompson with reps outside. He should be a serviceable interior offensive or defensive lineman. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="354747" first="Colby" last="Reph"] | 6’0, 285 | Northampton</strong></span></em></span> Guard and center capabilities. Really like this kid’s upper body strength and ability to steer and seal defenders out of the hole. His feet and movement in space I labeled as average until I had to remind myself that he is close to 300 pounds. Solid feet to get into correct positioning, not slow to the second level. Good motor on him too. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="377052" first="Owen" last="Reber"] | 6’1, 270 | Berks Catholic</strong></span></em></span> Reber acts as the highest-ranking prospect on this list. Absolutely brutal puller from his guard spot. Often too much for defenders to handle when he gets downhill or a head of steam. Reber is a flattener whose game deserves a deeper dive. I stand on my FCS-floor grade that will pan out in time. The Spring-Ford product produces quality reps at tackle for the program, although his skillset and size might serve him better at defensive end when you take into factor his build. Either way, SF has themself an up-and-coming name who has secured himself a spot on our rankings. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="266425" first="Aaron" last="Meadows"] | 6’0, 250 | Bayard Rustin</strong></span></em></span> I described Meadows’ tape as disrespectful, and I mean that in the best of ways. Combine a low center of gravity, a revving motor, and a ton of leg drive and you’ve got [player_tooltip player_id="266425" first="Aaron" last="Meadows"]. Top-100 debut for a quality prospect who brings tone-setting energy to both offensive and defensive trenches.
