Jeremiah Harrell Jeremiah Harrell 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Tupelo | 2024 State MS , 6-3 185, Tupelo
Jeremiah will make a real big name for himself this year. He started last year as a sophomore and will bring a lot of experience from last year. He makes very good throws under pressure. Jeremiah is very smooth rolling out. He can make any throw on the field. He does not just have a big arm. He can make accurate throws and help his receivers get a lot of yards after the catch. He is a trusted leader on his offense. Coach Hardin looks to win a lot of games with Harrell in the backfield making the throws.
Raheem Vance, 6-1 205, Olive Branch
The first time watching him play you will be impressed. His film from his sophomore season is very fun to watch. He is throwing touchdown passes in many different ways. He is good on the rollout. He can make very accurate passes on the move. Raheem has some nice speed so he can escape the pocket and make plays with his legs. He has nice placement on the ball. You won’t see his receivers having to make many hard catches. He is a true leader on the field. Raheem is going to bring a lot of excitement to the city of Olive Branch during football season. Needs to make sure he keeps those feet moving in the pocket. The more he progresses and learns the bigger his name will be. Has some nice size that helps him handle a few bumps in the pocket. Not easy to just drag around with arm tackles. He is a tough kid that wants to win and what do whatever it takes to win.
Landon Varnes Landon Varnes 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Brandon | 2024 State MS , 5-11 175, Brandon
Landon from Brandon is another guy that is fun to watch. He throws a very nice ball and knows how to win. He puts me in the mind of Drew Brees. He isn’t the tallest guy, but he stands in the pocket with confidence. He throws very accurate passes to his receivers. Landon is also a leader. He helped lead his team to the state championship last year. When I watch his film I love seeing him progress through his reads. He makes it so much easier for his receivers to just go out and make plays. He is a guy that allows his receivers to rub good routes and make great catches. They don’t have to worry about him putting them in bad positions. As he continues to train there is no telling what can come from this kid. He accumulated for over 2600 yards passing and 20 passing TDs last year. He even added two more on the ground. He can rub as well. Another element to his game most people don’t expect to see. Look for Landon to have a big season and get some nice offers.
Eli Viniard, 6-1 185, JDC
How can one not like Eli? He plays for JDC. Home of some of the best football you ever want to see. From the fans to the play on the field, Eli is every bit of a JDC football player. He plays in the Wing T offense, but this kid can sling it. He has a nice arm that doesn’t get to be displayed often. When he does get the chance to show off his arm he is putting the ball on the money. He keeps his feet moving in the pocket. He knows how to throw safeties off by not staring down his target. I would love to see Eli get more chances to make some throws. I think he will definitely have to promote himself heavy and attend a lot of camps. Don’t let that wing t offense fool you. This kid can spin it.
