ATH Jake Son, 2024
Son is one of the best defenders across the MCAL and will be back for a monster Junior season for the Hawks. He is a versatile athlete with speed that can play all over the field while offering return abilities as well. He excels at making plays in space while showing strong ball skills and man coverage abilities while physical near the LOS and a terrific tackler in space that loves contact and is a high motor kid.

SS Will Delorimier, 2022

The rising Junior is a very active safety at the third level and can be effective when dropping into the box and playing near the LOS. He is a physical player that brings a good thump upon contact and can quickly get off blocks while taking good angles to ball carriers in space. Quick out of his break, he flashes closing speed and the ability to take down bigger backs and cover bigger receivers in space. Going into this Fall, he will be one of the leagues top defenders at the third level.

QB Braden Young, 2024

Young is a emerging top quarterback with next level potential and under-rated athleticism outside of the pocket. Accurate downfield he can fit the ball into tight windows while throwing his receivers open and putting a nice touch on vertical routes. Moving through his progressions, he takes what is given and is accurate on shorter throws while also able to toss it on the run and throw across his body with some zip. Young should be one of the more productive 2024 quarterbacks across the Bay Area this season.
RB Christian Castro Vonk, 2024
Castro Vonk is a plug in the middle of a stout defense and a sound tackler in the box that fills hard and loves being physical at the POA. A low to the ground compact thumper, he reads plays quickly and can get off blocks without losing ground and drives through contact. Also showing he can scrape over the top and make plays outside the tackles, he is sound in space and can cover bigger backs but excels in the box. He will be one of the top defenders the Hawks have in 2022.
DL Drew Bivens, 2023
Bivens will anchor the defensive line from his nose guard position and is a two gap plug that is hard to move in the interior run game. He is stout and strong at the point of attack while creating immediate knock-back and able to collapse the pocket with good movement abilities, especially for his size. Also offering a quick use of hands at the point of attack, he is a powerful pass rusher that is in line for a huge season for what should be a very solid defense.
