WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id="282730" first="Chris" last="Lawson"], 2025
One of the most impressive 2025 players across the entire country, Lawson is in line for a monster second season for Foothill and will be a household name on Saturdays in a few years. He is a long and explosive playmaker with elite downfield speed, huge catch radius and can high point balls while making contested catches seem effortless. At corner, he is smooth in transition with recovery speed/length while physical near the LOS. Going into the season, he will be one of the top 2025 players within California and Foothill is in line to make another section title run.
LB Jake Patterson, 2024
Patterson is one of the top linebackers across the Bay Area and had a terrific sophomore campaign for one of the regions top teams. He’s a stout middle linebacker that can apply pressure for multiple different angles in the middle and off the edge with closing speed and a nice thump upon contact. He is a high motor player that takes good angles in the open field and shows a quick play diagnosis as he is seemingly always making plays behind the line of scrimmage. Only going to continue to pack on more weight and develop as a player, he should gather college interest as he progresses through his Junior season.
WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id="273666" first="Samear" last="Lattier"], 2024
Lattier has great upside at the next level at 6’2" with long arms and natural ball skills. One of the top two-way players across the Bay Area, he adds to a loaded skill position group for Foothill as they are brining back some key players from last seasons loaded team. Lattier has impressed at multiple events this off-season going against top competition and showed why he is one of the top cover defensive backs across the region.
OL Jackson Braden, 2023
Braden is a downhill blocker that excels when drive or down blocking and can pull violently when needed while kicking out interior lineman or climbing to the second level. He shows good flexibility in his stance and has a strong anchor against pass rushers and can play multiple positions along the front. A successful running team, Braden will help anchor both sides of the ball in 2022.
OL/DL Rory Grady, 2023
Grady is an interior mauler but athletic for his size and has a quick first step out of his stance while showing a good drive block and creates immediate knock-back while able to finish blocks downfield. Another high motor kid for foothill, he can block in space, takes good angles to second level defenders and finishes blocks consistently. Projected as a guard in college, he should gather D-III+ interest through his final season.
