This edition of the weekly round-up includes some of the hottest prospects in the states. With the summer just starting, the recruiting cycle is heating up for all classes.
Khalifa Keith Khalifa Keith 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB A.H. Parker | 2023 State AL RB 6’1 218 2023 Parker
Georgia Tech has recently offered Keith. This also comes off the heels of him participating in Florida State’s summer camp and having an official visit to the University of Kentucky. The interest comes as no surprise, with Keith being one of the more explosive backs in the state. Though he packs a significant punch with a 210+ pound frame, he shows elite burst and vision when slicing through defenses. But don’t get it twisted. Keith can play with power and can be just as effective as a power back who can shred arm tackles, fight through contact, and assert his will on his opponents when needed. As Keith looks to build on a stellar junior campaign, it’ll be interesting to see what other schools will be in line for his services.
Lets go!!! Congratulations to @KhalifaKeith2 … one of the top RBs in his class https://t.co/V0gvc6S8C9

KJ Jackson KJ Jackson 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Saint James School | 2024 State AL 6’3 210 2023 Saint James
Jackson was arguably the hottest prospect in the state this week. With a recent visit to the University of Oklahoma earlier this week, he’s also picked up an offer from Jackson State and Colorado State. The smooth lefty also impressed in his performance in the Elite 11 camp. With prototypical size, Jackson has a rocket for an arm. He shows great accuracy in all areas of the field and can thread the needle with excellent velocity and power. He works the intermediate and deep ball with precision, though he can pick apart defenses with his arm, Jackson is a solid athlete that can break down defenders in the open field and be a threat with his legs. As Jackson continues to showcase his arm talent look for the offers to continue to roll in.

Anquon Fegans Anquon Fegans 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB Thompson | 2025 State AL 6’1 FS/SS Thompson
The 2025 prospect has lit the summer up with some stellar invites and offers. Coming off his invitation to the Under Armor 2025 All-American game, Fegans was invited to the University of Alabama’s summer camp and received an offer immediately after. As the No.5 overall prospect according to our state rankings, Fegans is sure to gain more interest as he continues to gain opportunities to showcase his talent. As a safety, he shows excellent instinct in run support. With calculated angles, closing speed, and fundamentals, he’s elite at bringing down ball carriers in the backfield. In pass coverage, he shows versatility with an ability to play in the slot or patrol the field as a safety. When working the slot, Fegans displays a smooth backpedal and great reaction time when mirroring receivers in man coverage. In addition, he can effectively read the QB’s eyes, close on the ball, and play through receivers’ hands to make deflections when in zone coverage. Look for Fegans to continue getting high-level offers through the summer and fall.

Braxton Urquhart 6’2 185 2023 Ramsay
Urquhart has been racking up camp dates. The Ramsay product had lined up with South Alabama, Mississippi State, Auburn, and the University of Alabama. The 6’2 corner shows great physicality when getting off blocks, engaging in the run game, and driving through ball carriers when making tackles. He also uses his length well when playing bump and run coverage- he is effective with the quick jam and frequently disrupts routes and WR timing. With the whole summer to go, look for Urquhart to gain even more momentum and looks before the fall hits.
