BJ Gibson BJ Gibson 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Wilcox County | 2024 State GA – Wilcox County
One of the top pure athletes across Georgia in the 2024 class, The Tennessee baseball commitment can dominate both on the baseball diamond, and on the gridiron. He’s a reliable playmaker at wide receiver who knows how to torch a defense with his speed, natural athleticism, and his ability to create separation down the field. He shows controlled, balanced feet and is really quick in and out of his breaks. As one of the top athletes on the field at all times, the South Georgia standout is also a major weapon in the return game. He’s someone who can make a play whenever he has the ball. The Rochelle native has had a big spring on the recruiting trail, adding offers from Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M with more likely on the way. He’s now ranked as the No. 16 prospect in Georgia and thee No. 5 WR in the newest 2024 rankings.
Debron Gatling Debron Gatling 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Milton | 2024 State GA – Milton
One of the top receiver prospects in North Georgia, Gatling is coming off an excellent sophomore season for the Eagles as he helped lead his Milton squad to the 7A state championship game. He has good size and a D1-looking frame for his age at 6-foot-1 180-pounds and already knows how to run a crisp route and create separation. Playing arguably one of the toughest schedules in the country, against tough competition week in and week out, Gatling proved to be a reliable option in the passing game, catching 36 passes for 705 yards and 11 touchdowns. He may not be a “burner”, but he’s more than fast enough to get behind a defense and make big plays down the field. He plays the ball well in the air and catches the ball at it’s highest point. The playmaking wide-out will be coached by former Georgia Bulldog legend Terrence Edwards, so as he continues to develop, Gatling could see his ranking continue to rise over time. Gatling holds early offers from Michigan, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, among others.
Malcolm Simmons Malcolm Simmons 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Jonesboro | 2024 GA – Jonesboro
One of the biggest playmakers in the Atlanta area, Simmons is currently ranked as the No. 7 WR prospect in the state, but he could see that ranking rise considerably in the next update. The 6-foot-0 180-pounder out of Jonesboro shows outstanding ball skills and knows how to run all different types of routes. His sudden movements and quick feet allow him to create separation with ease in man coverage, and when the ball is in the air, he knows how to snatch it out of the air at it’s highest point. He’s fast, explosive, and can score on any particular play. His speed and ability to cut and change directions also make him a weapon in the return game. If you look at his offer list, he’s easily one of the more underrated prospects in the state. He’s an easy D1 talent bound for a gigantic junior season. As a sophomore last fall, Simmons caught 26 passes for 744 yards and 7 touchdowns. Look for his offer list to explode at some point down the road.
John Cineas John Cineas 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Grayson | 2024 State GA – Grayson
A big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-2 195-pounds, Cineas is now ranked as the No. 8 WR and the No. 53 overall prospect in Georgia according to the newest 2024 rankings. He showed a lot of promise last year as he often used his lone frame to go up and make a big catch down the field. He does a good job of catching the ball high in the air above smaller defensive backs. He plays the ball well in the air and proved last year that he’s a major weapon deep down the field. As a sophomore last year, Cineas caught 22 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns. With improved QB play in 2022, Cineas could be bound for a breakout junior season this fall. He has the size, ball skills, and big-play ability to make a lot of plays, and as he develops and improves as a route runner with more experience, he could see his recruitment really take off. He’s a breakout receiver candidate in Gwinnett County, and he’s only scratching the surface of his potential.
