<strong>DAYTONA BEACH SEABREEZE FOOTBALL</strong><strong> 2022. </strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Pat Brown <strong>2021 Record:</strong> 7-5 <strong>THE SANDCRABS</strong> <strong>PROSPECT WATCH</strong> For years this is a program that has played second fiddle to Mainland High School, and while they produced a number of quality student/athletes, it has been an uphill struggle. Because of the hard work of head coach <strong>Pat Brown</strong> and his staff, this team has steadily improved with a year-round commitment to getting better. While they dropped a first-round playoff game to Rockledge, the year certainly had its up and down. Losses to Port Orange Spruce Creek, Orange City University, DeLand and Mainland ended up being a learning experience – much like the seven wins. Those victories against Palm Bay Bayside (22-0), Ocala Forest (43-8), Deltona (14-10, OT), Daytona Beach Father Lopez (34-0), Orlando Bishop Moore (31-7), Deltona Pine Ridge (55-0) and Port Orange Atlantic (48-0) also served as a confidence builder and propelled them into the state playoffs. With a solid spring giving way to the summer, this is a team with holes to fill, but being competitive will go a long way in determining their fate in 2022.
