This Class has a lot more schools in it than AA so there is a much bigger talent pool to compete with. I would say finding some athletes in many events in the top 10 would be quite an accomplishment.

Carter VanDonge– (Sioux Falls Christian) 100m (11.32, 4th), 4x100m relay & 4x200m relay A Champions, Sprint Medley relay (3rd). Four medals in the Top Five in each event is one of the more impressive things I’ve seen at a State Meet. One thing about three of them being in relays, is confidence in running his own part of the race and doing his part getting the baton around the track, trusting his teammates will do the same.
Isaac Crownover Isaac Crownover ATH Bon Homme | 2023 State – (Bon Homme) 100m (11.57, 8th), 200m (23.61, 8th), 400m (51.46, 9th). This performance was impressive to me because he placed in two of the most popular events in the country, not just the State, and then just missed podium in one of the hardest races in track all in one weekend.
RJ Perry RJ Perry 6'1" | 260 lbs | DL Great Plains Lutheran | 2023 State – (Great Plains Lutheran) Shot Put (44’8″, 10th), Discus (142’7″, Runner-up). In a veteran flooded area such as throws in this Class, Perry’s top ten finishes in both events is most impressive amongst the returning players for next season.

Layton Johnson– (West Central) 100m (11.36, 5th) 200m (23.22, 5th), 4x200m relay (3rd), 4x400m relay (3rd). Two individual events in the top five, then anchoring two relays in the top three, also mentioning that he sprinted just over a mile on the week. The young kid has proved himself to the State I would say.
