The state has produced multiple 5-star offensive linemen in recent years, so they do come through often. With the newest 2023 rankings out, here are the top-ranked interior offensive line prospects in Georgia according to Prep Redzone…
Madden Sanker Madden Sanker 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL South Paulding | 2023 State GA – South Paulding
Ranked as the No. 1 interior OL prospect in Georgia for the 2023 class, Sanker is a tough, nasty lineman and one of the top wrestlers in the state. He has great size at 6-foot-5 285-pounds and loves to play with a mean streak. He’s strong, powerful, fundamentally sounds, and can push guys around from the guard position. He plays physical, and once he gets his hands on the defender, it’s over. The South Paulding standout also does a great job of driving his opponent backwards and doesn’t stop until the whistle is blown. He plays with leverage, has plenty of strength in the lower body, and gets his guy on the ground more often than not. He’s a road grader in the run game, and he’s only getting better in pass protection. He’s one of the top overall offensive line prospects in the state and he holds offers from Arkansas, Miami, Louisville, among others.
Trovon Baugh Trovon Baugh 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL Pace Academy | 2023 State GA – Pace Academy
One of the fastest-rising 2023 offensive linemen in the state, Baugh is a big body with versatility at 6-foot-5 305-pounds. He’s a dominant run blocker who really bullied his opponents in region play last year, and that’s a big reason why he’s now ranked as the the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the state. A South Carolina Gamecock commitment, Baugh moves well for his size and does a great job of driving defensive linemen out of the play. He plays with power, aggression, and plays until the play is ruled dead. He’s tough, physical, and makes it look easy at times for Pace Academy. He looks the part of an SEC-caliber offensive lineman and the Atlanta native has his best football ahead of him. There’s a lot to like about his game and he’s bound for a dominant senior season this fall.
One of the top overall centers not only West Georgia, but across the peach state, Fenimore is a multi-year starter with an old-school way on blocking. He’s smart, tough, physical, and moves really well for someone his size. Like the others, Fenimore shows impressive lower body strength, plays with a strong base, and has really become a leader on the team. He holds the school shot-put record with a 55’7 throw. He’s violent in the run game, finishes blocks well, and shows an outstanding work ethic and knowledge of the game. As a junior, the Coastal Carolina commitment helped lead an outstanding offensive line to a 10-2 season and helped block for senior Jayden Bolton who rushed for close to 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns. Look for the Indians who have another stout offensive line and offense overall in 2021, which could lead to some D1 interest for Fenimore. He’s the No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the state in the newest 2023 state rankings.
