Heidel transferred this offseason from Ponderosa High in Colorado where last season he passed for 1498 yards and 17 touchdowns. Last season he passed for 1509 yards passing, completed over 56% of his passes and threw 11 touchdowns. He also had it 40 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground.
