Prospects Building Momentum out of Arkansas Camp

The Arkansas Razorbacks held one of the first camps over the summer this past weekend. In this article, we are going to examine the prospects that are building momentum and coming off of a strong performance in Fayetteville over the weekend. Plenty of prospects put on a good show in Fayetteville and we are going to take a look at several of those prospects. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="75141" first="Donovan" last="Whitten"]-Quarterback-Arkadelphia-2023</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="75141" first="Donovan" last="Whitten"] was extremely impressive in Fayetteville over the weekend. He was terrific being able to throw on the run. Whitten has the ability to fit the ball into some tight windows A facet of Whitten’s game that does not get the credit it deserves is just how good of a runner the young man is. He is not afraid to run the football and use his legs to pick up yardage. Whitten will be attending the Memphis Tigers camp next and continue his preparation for the 2022 football season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="201147" first="Anton" last="Pierce"]-Defensive Back-Little Rock Mills-2023</strong> Little Rock Mills is loaded with talent on the defensive side of the ball. Pierce has the size at 6’3” and 205-pounds to terrorize opposing wide receivers. He is not afraid to deliver a hit and does an impressive job of making plays on the ball. At the Arkansas camp over the weekend, Pierce put up another impressive performance and is clicking on all cylinders as we approach the upcoming season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="143614" first="Carter" last="McElhany"]-Wide Receiver-Greenbrier-2023</strong> <strong>`</strong>McElhany put on display his impressive speed over the weekend in Fayetteville. Meanwhile, the Greenbrier wide receiver also had the opportunity to put his smooth route running on display as well. Having already earned scholarship offers from Air Force and Army, McElhany is setting the stage for a strong senior season. The college team that lands McElhany gets a wide receiver with elite speed that can work the slot or stretch the field. Keep an eye on McELhany coming out of the Arkansas camp. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="354610" first="Blake" last="Hegwood"]-Wide Receiver-Pine Bluff-2023</strong> The wide receiver position group is a strong one for the class of 2023 in the state of Arkansas. In Fayetteville, Hegwood put on display his good hands making some tough receptions over the weekend. He is a wide receiver that has a great sense of where he is on the field. Hegwood has the speed needed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. The display he put on at the Arkansas camp is setting the stage for an impressive 2022 football season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="318884" first="Noah" last="Britton"]-Running Back-Bauxite-2024</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="318884" first="Noah" last="Britton"] has had a terrific offseason thus far this offseason. He kept the momentum rolling with a strong showing in Fayetteville over the weekend. Britton does a great job of allowing a rushing lane to develop. A facet of his game that does not get the credit it deserves is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Britton is a difficult player for opposing defenses to account for when he is lined up as a wide receiver. I look for Britton to continue to impress this offseason and have a very strong 2022 football season.
