Continue ReadingWe are right in the middle of spring football and programs are getting an early idea of what it is their team may look like come the fall. Players are getting an idea of what is working for them as far as their training and diets are concerned. At the same time, new and veteran coaches are figuring out what may or may not be working for them. Whether it is the drills they do, or the scrimmage games played coaches and players are fine tuning their games on the regular. In this series I will be covering as many schools as I can, from as many different classes as I can. ln my fourth article of this series we will take a look at the Bentonville Tigers.
Christian Battles #10
QB
c/o 2025
Christian Battles is certainly on the rise. When a player shows that kind of accuracy, and arm talent; not to mention how dangerous he is with his legs, the opposition is left wondering how to defend that. Battles has shown on film to be a dangerous thrower when forced out of the pocket as well. His film looks like he is playing madden on the field. Christian can make just about any throw and can also break a big run at any moment. Battles looks to take this Bentonville offense to the next level in 2022.
Luke Coon Luke Coon 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR Bentonville | 2024 State AR #11
WR/DB

Luke Coon Luke Coon 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR Bentonville | 2024 State AR just seems to stand out. He definitely made himself known at the Sooner 7 vs. 7, getting recognition from our colleagues over at Prep Redzone Oklahoma. Luke also looked great in his drills at Rivals camp in Dallas, TX. Coon stands at 6’1″ 160lbs and in my opinion is better suited at wide receiver, although he has played snaps at defensive back. He just seems to come naturally to the receiver position. I would love to see Luke take his game to the next level and be a real dangerous target on this Bentonville offense.
Logan Roberson #44
MLB
c/o 2024
Logan has all the tools to have a breakout season in 2022. At 6’1″ 185lbs Roberson has shown solid pre snap awareness, good vision, and is a solid tackler. With a 5.0 40-yard dash, and 30.5″ vertical, Logan has the ability to be a threat in the running and passing game. With playing the middle linebacker position comes great responsibility, which is a challenge that I am sure that Roberson is ready to accept.
Braylon Hardrick #89
TE
c/o 2024
Braylon is a powerful, downhill runner with the ball. He has great hands, runs solid routes as a tight end, and uses his big body when going up for a catch. Hardrick is no doubt a threat in the passing game, but it is his blocking ability that makes him dangerous. It’s almost as if he seeks and enjoys the contact. Braylon is 6’2″ and a solid 215lbs. With the tools that he has, as well as his natural abilities, Hardrick has made himself a real threat on this Bentonville offense.
