Missouri Recruiting Notebook: June 27

Two of the better Class of 2023 football prospects in the state of Missouri recently made verbal commitments and three of the top prospects in the Show-Me State announced their finalists, with one of them set to announce his decision within the next week. <strong>DE SMET’S GRAY SETS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE</strong> It has been about a year and a half since De Smet 2023 cornerback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37662" first="Christian" last="Gray"]</strong> started blowing up on the recruiting trail following some standout showings at camps, including at Ohio State. The long and lanky cornerback with elite speed has, in the past 18 months or so, attracted scholarship offers from coast to coast and from the best programs in college football. Since then, the 6-1, 180-pounder has received offers from Northern Iowa, Colgate, Eastern Illinois, Akron, Missouri State, Kent State and Air Force. The photos were of Green from when he visited LSU, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Missouri. Green has received scholarship offers from nearly every big-time program in the country and taken his time with his recruiting to visit several schools to get a better look at them.
