Ike Ackerman Ike Ackerman 6'3" | 215 lbs | ATH Omaha Central | 2025 State NE (2025) | Omaha Central | 6’2″ 205 lbs
Ike was one of the most impressive participants at the camps. He is a tall, strong pass-catcher that will likely be the starting tight end for the Eagles. For being a bigger player, he runs his route very smoothly and is explosive at the snap. Ike had what I would call the play of the camp when he made a tough catch over Iowa Hawkeye’s receiver Arland Bruce IV (to be fair Arland was in Air Forces) while holding on through contact, which really hyped up the crowd. Ackerman does a great job elevating and getting his hands out to make the catch. He has big mitts that cradle the ball as it arrives. Don’t sleep on Ackerman’s blocking ability either. Ackerman is going to be a scary two-way player for the Eagles.
Aamir Hill Aamir Hill ATH Millard South | 2025 State NE (2025) | Omaha Central
This was my second look at Central’s Aamir Hill Aamir Hill ATH Millard South | 2025 State NE and he continues to look like a hidden gem in the 2025 class. Aamir is a very shifty, very twitchy player that can play on either side of the ball. He made some really great catches all day and had one of the better records in 1v1s. Hill’s footwork and natural athleticism make him dynamic as a receiver, especially in the slot. Even though this was mainly QBs and WRs, players still volunteered to swap over to DB for 1v1 drills, Aamir being one of them. Aamir battled with some of the top wideouts at the camp and held his ground. Hill is an intriguing player that can destroy you with finesse or by being scrappy.
Tucker Ingram (2025) | Omaha Westview
I got a look at a few players from the new high school, Omaha Westview, and I thought they did very well. Tucker was among the Wolverines in attendance and I thought he was an impressive pass catcher. He passes the eye test for someone his age, I personally thought he was going to be a senior or junior so I was surprised when I found out he was a 2025 prospect. Tucker has excellent hands and concentration through the catch. He works his routes and can counter defensive back attempts to slow him down. I’m excited to see what Tucker and the Wolverines will do this upcoming season.
Marcellous Lloyd (2025) | Omaha Central
Marcellous balled out at the Johnson Brothers camp and caught several coaches’ eyes. Lloyd is a tall, lengthy receiver with hops to go up and snag the ball. Marcellous is a slimmer player, but he doesn’t shy away from being physical and using his hands to beat the jam or to create separation. He is a long strider that can get downfield in a flash and track the deep ball. I like Marcellous to step into a bigger role for the Eagles in 2022.
Jordan Brown (2024) | Omaha Central
As you can tell, the Omaha Central presence was strong at this camp. Jordan was another Eagle that performed at a high level. He made several great catches at all levels of the field. Ran great short, intermediate, and deep routes, always finishing with the ball in his hands. I like how he can sink his hips and change directions, he showed lots of fluidity in his routes. Jordan is part of a young group of playmakers for the Eagles and I think he should be able to carve out a nice role in the offense. Watch out for Jordan in the next rankings update!
Andrew Brown (2024) | Omaha Central
Andrew has already proven that he’s an incredible athlete on the track with a state championship in the 300m hurdles already under his belt. This season he’ll be able to show it on the gridiron for the Central Eagles. Brown looked explosive coming off the line and can hit the next gear to get under the deep ball. I didn’t keep track, but it felt like Andrew was able to Andrew ran clean routes and even put some defenders on skates.
