Impressive Performances from Busy Weekend

The first weekend of June had plenty of impressive performances taking place at numerous camps. Dallas, Monticello, Conway, and Tulsa all had prospects that put on plenty of strong performances over the weekend. We are going to look at several prospects that solid showings and continue to open some eyes in the process. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91985" first="Latonnieo" last="Hughes"]-Defensive Back-Arkadelphia-2023</strong> The Arkadelphia Badgers are one of the most talented teams in the state of Arkansas going into the 2022 season. [player_tooltip player_id="91985" first="Latonnieo" last="Hughes"] was able to put his speed and hands on display at the Dallas Mega-Camp over the weekend. He has no trouble getting aggressive with opposing wide receivers. Hughes uses his speed well to stay with wide receivers and he does a good job of using his hands to jam at the line of scrimmage. Hughes is a prospect that I expect to have a strong 2022 season for the Badgers. <strong>Kyrone Sims Jr-Defensive Line-Watson Chapel-2023</strong> At the Central Arkansas camp over the weekend, Sims Jr. put on a good display of speed during his drills. What really stands out when you watch Sims Jr. play is that he will not quit on a play. He does a fantastic job of pursuing the ball carrier and rushing the passer. The Watson Chapel edge rusher is going to force opposing offensive lines to account for him. Sims Jr. is one of my sleepers going into he 2022 season and I expect a big year from him. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149592" first="Jake" last="Casey"]-Quarterback-Bentonville West-2024</strong> The Bentonville West signal caller has had a busy offseason thus far. A week he was able to put some work in at Kansas State University. However, Casey was not finished there. Casey put on an impressive showing at the Dallas Mega-Camp over the weekend. He has an accurate arm and does an impressive job of connecting with his wide receivers. Casey can fit the ball into some tight windows and throws well when escaping the pocket. He is a quarterback to watch out for this season, Casey has the potential for a big season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="319180" first="Miguel" last="Graham"]-Defensive Back-Bryant-2023</strong> At the Central Arkansas camp, [player_tooltip player_id="319180" first="Miguel" last="Graham"] displayed his pass coverage skills in impressive one-on-one work. The Bryant defensive back showed off his impressive 4.48 speed. Graham has had a strong offseason and the Hornets are going to be dangerous team to contend with this upcoming season. One thing that will stick out about Graham is that he does not shy away from delivering a hit. Look for a strong season from Graham this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135327" first="Brandon" last="Greil"]-Athlete-Joe T. Robinson-2023</strong> Versatility is the name of the game for [player_tooltip player_id="135327" first="Brandon" last="Greil"]. One the offensive side of the ball, Greil is a prospect that can stretch the field at the wide receiver position. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, Greil makes life miserable for opposing wide receivers. He is an impressive defensive back with just how physical he can get with opposing wide receivers. The Robinson coaching staff is going to be able to get creative with how they align Greil. Keep an eye on this young man he is building momentum this offseason.
