In the first ever Gem State Showcase, run by former Boise State alum Juss Jackson, many of the top athletes in the state of Idaho not only attended the event but walked away with some of the top prizes. The showcase was held as a way for college coaches to get an eye on some of the top talent in the state with two of the top coaches in their respective divisions attending, Andy Avalos (Boise State) and Jason Eck (Idaho). Along with coaches from Washington, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Northern Arizona, and Portland State from the Big Sky. There we also some small schools from the NAIA and NCAA D-III ranks like College of Idaho, Willamette, Presbyterian, Pacific Lutheran and Carroll.

Another Offensive Lineman that has been making waves this off-season walked away with an offer from Portland State after a solid showing in the event.
Luke Flowers:
Watch out for this signal caller from Rigby, he has had nothing but positive reviews this offseason starting with his lightning quick release.
Ethan Beard:
Remember this young man’s name as he started off well known in the valley but has started to earn attention from some of the top programs in the state with an Idaho offer at the event.
