Mario Craver Mario Craver 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Clay-Chalkville | 2024 State AL 5’9 150 WR
Craver is one of the top-tier receivers within the state. His blazing speed and acceleration is the ultimate weapon when attacking defense. This, along with his skill as a route runner, makes him a can’t-miss recruit. With smooth transitions at the top of his routes and an ability to maintain speed out of his cuts, he’s excellent at creating space and giving the QB a window to throw through. He also uses this elite speed acceleration to sell vertical and work the underneath game, and excel as a RAC yardage. Shows versatility as a receiver when working outside and inside routes. Does a great job of looking the ball in and making catches on a consistent basis.

Jac’Qawn McRoy 6’9 355 OT
McRoy is an elite tackle within the state and can anchor both the run game and pass protection. His enormous frame, alongside of his fundamentals, makes him nearly unbeatable at this level. His size automatically makes him a mauler who can drive defenders out of the play and create major holes for his running back. In pass protection, he’s consistent. With solid hand-to-hand combat, solid kick steps, and an expansive arm span, he’s able to keep defenders out of his chest, win the leverage battle, and drive them out the way to keep his QB clean. He also excels with the inside strike and if he gets his hands on you… you’ll just have to live to see another down.

Jaylen Mbakwe Jaylen Mbakwe 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Clay-Chalkville | 2024 State AL 6’1 170 WR/CB
Mbakwe is a dynamic playmaker on both sides of the field. With game-changing speed, he’s one play away from altering the game’s complexion. As arguably the best return specialist in the state, Mbakwe shows excellent vision and acceleration when hitting creases and hitting his head on goal posts when the opposing team kicks to him. As a receiver, this speed translates well. He can play in space and turn routine 5-yard screens, slants, or crossers to 60+ yard touchdowns, making him extremely. Though he excels as a big-play receiver, Mbakwe is just as dangerous at defensive back. With track star speed, excellent quick twitch, and proven ball skills, he’s able to lock down receivers in both zone and man coverage. His physicality at the line of scrimmage when jamming receivers makes him an elite cover corner who can have a significant impact on Chalkville’s repeat chances.

Dangelo Barber, 6’0 205 LB
Barber is a new-age linebacker who compensates for his lack of traditional size with speed, quickness, and athleticism. He shows excellent instinct and pursuit when navigating blockers to get to the ball. He also shows tremendous closing speed and can keep ball carriers in front of him in open-field situations. This is especially valuable on delayed blitzes, where he excels at shooting the gap and generating sacks and pressures. Though he’s a speedy linebacker, Barber can keep himself clean against blockers and shred tackles to get to the ball. At the point of attack, he shows good fundamentals and a mentality of being the hammer and not the nail.
