The junior campaign is where they get to show their on-filed talents and experiences while setting the stage for their senior year.
Below is a list of five players from the class of 2024 who have shown significant promise as potential plug-and-play athletes.
Jordan Herron Jordan Herron 5'10" | 155 lbs | ATH Cherry Creek | 2024 State CO | Cherry Creek | 5’10”, 155lbs | RB/WR/CB
Herron is an exciting athlete who made great use of his opportunities to showcase his talents en route to a 5A state championship title last season. He is a shifty player who has excellent vision and acceleration, which helps him find the open holes and exploit the running lanes. He has breakaway speed and elusive cuts, making him a superb option as a return man. Herron also has impeccable defensive back techniques to accompany his offensive skills, making him a must-know prospect.

Dorsey Satterfield | Standley Lake | 5’9”, 165lbs | DB/LB/WR
Satterfield is a sleeper who possesses outstanding athletic abilities. He has a solid build and great speed. His fundamentally sound playing style is extremely impressive. His ability to track the ball carrier and close the distance while maintaining his leverage before finishing with a strong shoulder tackle is top-notch. Satterfield is a standout defender who is tough against the run and flows well in coverage, but he is also a playmaking receiver who is difficult for defensives to contain.
Josh Snyder Josh Snyder 6'1" | 190 lbs | TE Classical Academy | 2023 State CO | Columbine | 5’11”, 175lbs | RB/DB/WR
Snyder is an under-the-radar player with significant upside, especially as a return man. He is a powerful runner who plays with excellent pad level and has breakaway speed. As a running back, he has more of a one-cut style with the ability to explode through creases and outrun defenders. His abilities as a defensive back are based on his natural athleticism and good instincts. Snyder is a talented player with tremendous potential, making him a must-watch player.

Diego Valdiviezo Diego Valdiviezo 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Fairview | 2024 State CO | Fairview | 5’10”, 165lbs | SS/WR
Valdiviezo is a radar low-flier whose stock value has steadily risen this offseason. He has raw athleticism and natural playmaking abilities. He is safety who can help to fill the box or drop back into coverage and ball-hawk the skies. His versatile skill set allows him to line up as a receiver and make contested catches. Valdiviezo is on track to have an impressive junior season.
Elijah Abeyta | Prairie View | 6’3”, 170lbs | WR/FS
Abeyta is a radar pop-up who has spent this offseason strengthening his skill set. He has good height and a solid frame, making him an ideal passing target for quarterbacks. His ability to stretch the field makes him a legitimate deep that secondaries must account for, thus creating opportunities for underneath routes to develop. Abeyta has started to garner a bit of attention, making him a player to watch.
