Poppell is a versatile back that can beat you in a multitude of ways. He led the team in rushing with 764 yards, averaged 6.9 yards per carry with 11 rushing touchdowns. Three down back that can hurt you in the passing game as well, where he had 8 catches for 188 yards and a touchdown. Shows good quickness with a mix of toughness, shows </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">good vision and field awareness to rip off big plays. Could end up being the best back in the district in 2022. Last season he rushed for 700 yards, averaged 6.8 yards per carry with 12 rushing touchdowns and one 100-yard rushing game. On the defensive side of the ball you registered 23 tackles. Possesses outstanding athleticism, has track style speed on the field. He finished second on the team with 614 yards rushing, averaged 7.4 yards per carry with three rushing touchdowns and two 100-yard rushing games. He led the team in rushing last season running for 868 yards, averaged over 7.5 yards per carry with five rushing touchdowns and four 100-yard rushing games. He also contributed on the defensive side of the ball with 20 tackles. Shows good juice and instincts to get to the second level. Last season he was second on the team with 715 yards rushing, averaged an outstanding 8.2 yards per carry with 9 rushing touchdowns and three 100-yard rushing games. He also contributed on defense with 22 tackles. Runs with a natural low center of gravity and has very good speed (4.4 40), has outstanding lateral agility.
