Here we will take a look at a few defensive players who can make a big jump in the rankings. We have some guys who show promising potential and who can become house hold names for their senior season as they take that leap into their last years. A few of the names will be familiar to most but just know that they have more to show. We have some real dawgs on this list.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="136139" first="Dylan" last="Spencer"] - C.E. King</span></strong></span>
<em><strong>6’4" - 240lbs</strong></em>
Spencer can very easily be a top 10 talent in the state at the defensive end position with his skill. The Longhorn commit has the size and length to control the edge and not allow anything outside of his containment. Spencer shows great disengagement from blocks and does a great job of finding the ball. He has long strides that gets him from point A to B in a hurry and he is physical at the point of attack. This upcoming season, look for Spencer to elevate his play and show what he’s got in his bag!

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Terrance Green - Cypress Woods</span></strong></span>
<em><strong>6’5" - 260lbs</strong></em>
Green has made some waves in the offer pool as he has gotten attention from many programs in past months. Green has a solid frame and his length has proved to cause issues for opposing linemen. The reach is impeccable and combined with the motor, Green is a show stopper. With a very productive year under his belt, expect Green to play with even more confidence and a greater feel for the game. He will be a favorite to watch for next season.

<em><strong>6’4" - 250lbs</strong></em>
Madrie’s strength and ability to recover is what separates him from others. Another athlete with great reach and possesses very good power. He has an excellent initial punch and gets himself off of blocks quickly. Madrie is a disruptor in the backfield and you know he is coming for it all for his senior season!

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="259532" first="Zachary" last="Chapman"] - Fort Bend Marshall</strong></span>
<em><strong>6’5" - 250lbs</strong></em>
Chapman shows much promise and has a chance to make a big jump for his senior season. The size is there along with the skills and the TCU commit has shown flashes of how good he can be. Chapman relocates the ball like a veteran player after engagement, and doesn’t stop until the ball carrier is down. Chapman is a player who can really put his stamp on the year with his play next season so keep eyes on him!
