As we look at the 2023 class rankings we take a look at the players who made the biggest jump in the rankings:

WR [player_tooltip player_id="367564" first="Joshua" last="Richards"], East Orange

Standing at a legit 6’4 175 he’s a difference-maker on both sides of the football. Where he does most of his damage, is at wide receiver. A long-limbed player who has a massive catch radius and excels at winning in 50/50 situations. The most impressive part of his game is what he can do after the catch. He has highlights of him using his elusiveness to force missed tackles or lowering his shoulders to go through defenders. He shows much physicality for a player with his build and size. Richards goes from not on the list to making the top ten. He has offers from Rutgers, Temple, and UConn.

DB [player_tooltip player_id="301154" first="Jayden" last="Bonsu"], St.Peter’s Prep

The number one defensive back in the class; nicknamed "BlackJack" that’s exactly how plays. A versatile defensive back who can make a difference in run defense and make plays in pass defense in zone or man. He can also cover slot receivers and has great ball skills. Where he separates himself is the way he can carry routes in zone coverage better than any defensive back in this class. His play-in zone is the reason Power 5 schools like Alabama is knocking at his door.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="198110" first="Tyler" last="Douglas"], Ocean

Douglas is poised to have a season for the record books. If there is a quarterback in this class who can literally do everything Douglas is your guy. He has the accuracy and plays out of structure that suggests he can put up gaudy numbers. He has the best arm talent of any quarterback in the class and is one of the most athletic prospects regardless of position. His best football is ahead of him as he will play for the University of Temple next fall.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="135269" first="Austen" last="Frattura"], Sparta

Austen is another uber-talented quarterback prospect. With his uncanny arm talent, he offers the best play under pressure of any quarterback in this class. That is his biggest separator. His ability to stand in a closing pocket and deliver passes while under tremendous pressure or during a big hit is a trait that you can’t coach. Austen currently has offers from Indiana, Pitt, and Temple.
