Coming off a state title appearance in 2021, the central valley powerhouse program is in line for a big 2022 season and will look to make another state title run this Fall. The state runner-ups have some key starters returning on both sides of the ball and have one of the most explosive and violent edge defenders across California returning for his Senior season. Below is a breakdown of some of their top returning impact players.

DE/TE [player_tooltip player_id="145171" first="Jaeden" last="Moore"], 2023
Moore is a multi-offer power five kid with the entire Pac-12 after his commitment and has a legitimate shot at playing on Sundays. He is a very explosive and talented edge rusher with length and power at the POA. Moore is disruptive against the run and pass while using his length and quick use of hands to gain the edge and beat double teams and triple teams at times while showing a heavy inside punch and violent shed with good pad level against the inside run game. A very high motor kid at all times, he will be one of the top pass rushers across the entire western region.
TE/LB Zach Zwart, 2023
Zwart is a physical and dynamic utility player that can help both in the blocking game and passing game from multiple different positions. He is an excellent phone booth blocker that finishes blocks and runs through contact. He shows good speed downfield in the passing game with strong hands and is effective in the red zone when high pointing passes and making contested catches. Defensively, he shows natural instincts and has a quick trigger on the outside while taking good angles in the open field and tracking down ball carriers back side.
OL Chase Womack, 2023
Womack is one of the more under-recruited offensive players across the valley in the 2023 class. At 6’6" and some change, he has the ideal build for the next level with length, bend and strength at the POA. In the run game, he is a mauler inside that shows a strong initial punch and a wide/consistent base through out drive blocks while athletic enough to pull ands scrape to the second level when needed. As he continues on through his final season for CVC, he should gather more college interest as he is a very intriguing prospect.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="270865" first="Max" last="Bakker"], 2023
Bakker is a very mature and smart pocket passer that shows a quick release downfield and can fit the ball into tight windows while able to throw over the top of defenders and get his receivers open. Accurate and on a line when throwing outbreaking routes, he moves through his progressions and scans the field quickly while doing a nice job at moving defensive backs away from his throwing window. Tough and athletic in the pocket, Bakker shows a strong pocket presence and has the legs and initial burst to take off when needed.
