His elite acceleration and burst allow him to shift gears, evade defenders, and consistently beat guys to the spot. Spencer also has an uncanny ability to maintain his speed out his cuts which makes him nearly impossible to tackle in space. For a near 300 pounder, Fields is swift and fluid with his movements. He shows tremendous quick twitch on his first step and closing speed when making plays in the backfield. Though he isn’t elite in any department, he shows an outstanding balance of speed, burst, physicality, and size. He displays solid vision when utilizing jump cuts and cut back lanes- while allowing his lineman to make the plays for him. As Walters grows into his frame and gets closer to his physical peak. Whose dangerous when he has the ball in his hands. He shows an ability to work quick game routes (slants, screens, crossers, etc.) and create from himself as yards after catch guy. He’s a smooth accelerator who can hit top speed swiftly and make things happen in the open field. Though he’s listed at 240, Kemp plays well above his size and almost has an interior lineman mentality when it comes to bull rushes and playing with physicality. He shows excellent discipline when sealing the edge, staying at home, and containing outside runs as a run defender.
