Continue ReadingHuge thanks to Brent Williams and the entire NextGen staff for having me out at the Show representing Prep Redzone. The camp was well-run as usual and helped each prospect in attendance show off what they are capable of. I was able to capture that while in attendance. Here are some prospect’s whose performances stood out to me from this past weekend’s The Show event by NextGen.
Ian Adrien | 6’0, 160 | WR | Don Bosco Prep | 2025
Happy to see Ian Adrien show out at this event. Advanced traits on display from a freshman. The young man secured his invite to the The Show in Atlanta this coming June, the invitation was deserved. Fluid throughout the entirety of his route. Love how he didn’t give up on many reps despite poor balls thrown his way. The work he has put in on his release off the line is evident and impresses. Great burst at the snap, understands how to use leverage to manipulate a defender where he needs him to be. DBP has got a real weapon outside the numbers. Can’t wait to see him compete at our camp on May 22nd.

Chase Enlow | 5’9, 175 | WR/RB | Freehold Twp | 2025
Bryce Enlow Bryce Enlow 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB The Hun Of Princeton | 2023 State NJ | 6’0, 215 | LB | The Hun of Princeton | 2023
Enlow brothers were a joy to watch. Chase, the freshman out of Freehold Twp, secured his invite to Atlanta. Chase was a problem when he had space to work with during 1v1s. His overall performance led me to do a deeper dive into his tape. This kid has versatility to his game, it showed at the camp and shows on tape. Chase’s pass-catching abilities are clearly developing as he brought in many balls with ease, something his tape wouldn’t show. I hope he continues to work on every facet of his game.
Junior, Bryce Enlow Bryce Enlow 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB The Hun Of Princeton | 2023 State NJ had himself a hell of a camp. He displayed very good foot speed, balance and explosion throughout linebacker individuals. I can see how serious he took each rep in front of the coaching staff at this event. There was attention to detail, coachability in his performance, things that are just as important as interceptions or PBUs. He looked every bit of his listed 215 pounds. Bryce proved he isn’t a one trick pony. moving really well in space and often beating RBs to the football during one-on-ones. I’ve been to many camps in my early scouting career, sometimes you can see a “football player” in just a shirt and shorts. That’s the case with Bryce, great camp from an even better football player.
Blessed to have earned an invitation to the @TheSHOWByNXGN as a 2025 RB along with @Bryceenlow_23. Can’t wait to get to Atlanta in June to show off my skills and talents! @GoMVB pic.twitter.com/MNnbABouW8

Makao Taylor | 5’11, 171 | QB | Passaic County | 2024
Tied with Maryland’s Austin Troyer for the Camp’s top performing quarterback. Rep after rep, throw after throw, Makao Taylor impressed me with his overall accuracy. I saw every quarterback present make some throws that wowed me, If you’re talented enough to be at this camp, then that should be the case. How you leave an impression on me is doing it again, and again and again. That’s what Taylor did. Magnificent timing and accuracy when throwing to running backs out of the backfield. The young man could fire dots in the seam if need be, or delivery a ball with some touch downfield. A wide variety of routes were hit beautifully by Taylor. He worked wheel routes with ease, throwing dots where only his target could get them. He worked out routes with ease, making sure no ball was thrown inside. His display of confidence and accuracy had me singing his praises to coaches on the sideline. Great job by this sophomore.
Austen Kivler | 6’2, 190 | WR | Delbarton | 2024
Hands, hands and more hands. I didn’t get to see too much of Kivler testing or working through individuals, but I did get to see Kivler come down with some awesome catches from a myriad of areas on the field during 1v1s. Looks much bigger than 6’2, 190 live, and I sat this in the best of ways. Looks 6’4, 225 at the catch point, then 6’0, 180 off the line of scrimmage attempting to release. Intriguing player that I wish I got to see more of.
Omar Ibrahim Omar Ibrahim 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB Union | 2023 State NJ | 6’2, 185 | DB | Union | 2023
Omar Ibrahim Omar Ibrahim 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB Union | 2023 State NJ takes home best DB regardless of class or state in my opinion. This was secured before my knowing of his name or status in the state of NJ. His build stands out immediately. Can be described a long-limbed and rangy which are terms that make the ears of any DB coach in the nation perk up. He isn’t just a body, there is serious skill and technique in his game, add a serious competitive nature and you’ve got the makings of a coveted prospect. Ibrahim was incredible while in-phase with his opponent. He’s physical enough to absorb initial contact at the beginning of each rep, not deterred or made off-balance easily. That’s a plus, especially when you consider the talent and strength of the wideouts at this camp. He can work against speed, I saw this before I got word that the young man ran a sub 4.6 at the event. He can counter speed with his great catch-up speed, he can counter physicality with his long frame, add great awareness and ball skills. His skillset is that of an FBS-caliber talent.

Steven Lizama | 6’3 | OL | St. Peter’s Prep | 2024
Steven Lizama’s one-on-one performance stood out to me early on. Took on some tackle reps against real speed but was up for the challenge. I decided to take a deeper dive into Lizama’s game after the event, finding out that the young man actually plays guard for SPP. His tape shows he can move like the wind, often acting as the pulling guard on inside zone runs for his team. His ability to get in front of speed rushers at the event makes more sense when you see his great foot speed at guard on tape. Athletic interior linemen who still has room to improve at all areas of his game. Sky is the limit.
