Today we are going to look at some prospects that have built momentum heading into the fall. The spring season is always a productive one for teams across Arkansas and this spring has not been any different. Let’s look at some prospects that are putting the spring season to good use.
Bradyn King Bradyn King 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Gurdon | 2025 State AR -Offensive Line-Gurdon-2025
In a state full of impressive offensive linemen, Bradyn King Bradyn King 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Gurdon | 2025 State AR fits that description to a tee. King is devastating when it comes to run blocking. He is a powerhouse that can take over the running game when it suits him. What sticks out is just how quick his feet are. He is out of the snap quickly and into the opposing defender just as fast. He is a prospect that I expect to see dominate over the next couple of seasons.
Jadyn Johnson Jadyn Johnson 6'0" | 195 lbs | WR Van Buren | 2025 State AR -Wide Receiver-Van Buren-2025
The Van Buren wide receiver has spent the offseason honing his craft at the wide receiver position. Johnson’s route running and quickness have always been impressive. However, this offseason he is displaying the impressive hands that he has. Van Buren has the potential to open some eyes this season. The Pointers have talent all over the field and the team has the capability of making a playoff run. Johnson is going to come out of the spring with some momentum this season.
Jonathan Frost Jonathan Frost 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Maumelle | 2025 State AR -Athlete-Bryant-2025
The Bryant Hornets have a pipeline of talent coming up through the ranks. Jonathan Frost Jonathan Frost 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Maumelle | 2025 State AR is another talented player that the Hornets’ coaching staff can line up all over the field. He has put on display some excellent hands. Frost can haul in tough receptions and make it look smooth in the process. Frost has put on a show during spring ball, and he is someone that has a high ceiling and some tremendous potential to go along with it.
Trey Howard-Wide Receiver-Little Rock Christian-2024
Howard has seen action on both sides of the ball this spring football season. On the defensive side of the ball, he has displayed an aggressive tendency to attack the ball as well as the ball carrier. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball, Howard has shown the ability to run smooth routes and he does a great job of hauling the ball in. Little Rock Christian has the potential be a dangerous team this season. Keep an eye for the Warriors as well as Howard.
Joe Trusty Joe Trusty 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Alma | 2023 State AR -Quarterback-Alma-2023
Trusty has had a terrific offseason and is someone that I am expecting to light up Friday nights in the fall. He has the accuracy and the arm strength to terrorize opposing defenses this season. One trait that does not get enough credit is his mobility. Trusty does an excellent job of moving around in the pocket and keeping his eyes down the field. Trusty is a prospect that is setting the bar coming out of the spring practices. The opportunity is there for a strong 2022 football season.
