St. John Bosco class of 2023 safety [player_tooltip player_id="145132" first="Ty" last="Lee"] announced his commitment to UCLA on Sunday.
Lee is a safety at St. John Bosco but was recruited by coach Ken Norton Jr. as a linebacker.
He is lengthy at 6-foot-3 and has a solid frame at 190 pounds with room to pack on some muscle to become a linebacker. He’s a hard hitter with a motor and sideline-to-sideline speed. He visited UCLA last weekend and committed shortly after.
Lee chose UCLA over 9 other schools that offered him including Arizona State, Michigan State, Ole Miss and USC among others. He is the second player from Southern California in UCLA’s 2023 recruiting class joining [player_tooltip player_id="145245" first="Grant" last="Gray"] of Norco.

St. John Bosco class of 2023 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="145191" first="Deven" last="Bryant"] announced his commitment to Washington on Sunday.
Bryant led St. John Bosco in tackles last season with 86. He is very physical and is one of the better blitzers as a inside linebacker. He has a knack for forcing fumbles and reminds me of Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard.
He had 11 other offers besides Washington including Louisville, Oregon and Washington State among others.
Bryant is the third player from California in Washington’s 2023 recruiting class joining [player_tooltip player_id="25436" first="Tybo" last="Rogers"] of Bakersfield and [player_tooltip player_id="261867" first="Keith" last="Reynolds"] of Adelanto.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana) class of 2024 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="147708" first="Elijah" last="Brown"] picked up three major offers this past week.
Tennessee, Washington and Oregon offered the undefeated signal caller.
Brown is now up to 13 offers and picked up offers from SEC powers Alabama and Georgia the week before last. Alabama is home to his Mater Dei predecessor Bryce Young.
He is one of the more accurate high school quarterback right now and always has his eyes on the secondary instead of the pass rush. He takes big hits and still delivers strikes down the field.

Laguna Hills running back and safety Troy Leigber picked up his first offer from Army West Point on Friday.
Leigber missed a big chunk of his junior season with an injury, but showed flashes of a quality running back his sophomore season. He is over 6-feet tall and a very strong 205 pounds and is a great athlete.
As a safety he is physical and has natural pass deflecting abilities. He needs to improve his top end speed but he has the frame that college coaches like.
His brother Mitch Leigber plays at Stanford and he went to junior days at Cal Poly and UC Davis.
